On March 13, 1977 audiences saw the final episode ("And Baby Makes 6") of the short-lived series PHYLLIS which starred Leachman. The series lasted 48 episodes.
Six days later, on March 19, 1977 she appeared on the series finale ("The Last Show") of THE MARY TYLER MOORE SHOW, which she was a regular on from 1970-75. The show ranked #1 in the ratings for that week. The series lasted for 168 episodes.
