For Better For Worse

Christian and Laurel Flaherty (Jonathon Rhys Meyers, AnnaLynne McCord) have been married 1 year and have custody of Christian's illegitimate 4-year-old son, Owen Flaherty. The troublesome issues threatening Christian and Laurel's marriage stems from Christian struggling to stay faithful to his wife (Laurel) while still closely involved with his ex-fiancee and mother of his son, Renee (Stacy Kieber). Laurel is threatened by Renee's history with Christian, and knows hows Renee has a certain power over Christian which scares Laurel. Christian also is a workaholic who buries himself into his career of starting up his own record producing business, while still playing lead guarist/vocalist in his band called "Black Hazel". Also, former exotic dancer, Laurel has a feeling of forever-gratitude towards Christian, who had saved Laurel from going down the wrong path. Laurel, a formerly emotionally unstable girl who worked as an exotic dancer whose stage name was "Amber" and enticed men for money (one of whom was Christian back in the day). But what Christian doesn't know is that Laurel has returned back to her old ways and has began exotic dancing again on the side (which is against Christian's wishes for her and their marriage). Laurel has been working for her shady, slimy former stripclub manager, Steve Wendell (Fred Savage). Steve has always had big dreams of Laurel and always wanted to be her professional manager and get her into the real money -- the pornography business. Laurel was always hestitant of Steve's dreams and what Steve really wants for her. Laurel and Christian have been going to marriage counseling with help of successful Dr. Marsha Foster (Jane Seymour), who tries her best to keep the married couple together. Also, trying to help bring the couple together is Laurel's best friend, Natalie Blake (Ellen Page) who is Laurel's childhood BFF who has never left her side no matter what, and as well as Laurel's meddlesome yet lush of a mother, Donna Haines (Ally Mills) who has had more men in her life than times she has said "I Love You" to anyone. Laurel loves her mom, but not when she drinks (which is frequently). New into Laurel's life is the hot new male exotic dancer, Randy Richman (Raviv Ullman), whose stage name is "Randy Andy", befriends Laurel when she returns back as a regular at the club. Randy's enigmatic and mysteriously intriguing personality captivates Laurel. Though Laurel is married and thus feels guilty for being captivated by Randy, Laurel can't help but embrace her budding friendship with fellow dancer whom she tries to shows him the ins and outs of the business, which brings them closer. Let the trouble, stress, and drama begin!
