No. My guess is that since All in the family had a very popular episode about that same subject, the producers didn't want to touch it.

Florence must've gone through it during the 80s, although it was never mentioned. She has hungry to have a child when Jenny was pregnant in the fall of 1979, but after that she seemed resigned to not being a mother.
