I have been lurking here for several months, but this is my first post. I just watched an episode with the murder of Jody Bordeaux. She worked at a casino and was shot in her home.

The did not list any updates and I could not find a post here about this case. I also looked online and didn't find anything new.

Just wondering if anyone had any updates to this case.

Welcome! :) Yes a very sad case. I did find her listed at some cold case websites so it sounds like no one has been arrested for her murder.

Just saw this case for the very first time. Always strange these days when I come across one that was unknown to me before.

A very sad case.

This case was very tragic. I'm not trying sound cruel or negative but I don't think it will ever get solved. Some Native American/tribal groups are known for being corrupt when it comes to crimes that happen on tribal lands or with casino gaming.

What stuck with me from this case after all these years is Jody's husband. He rubbed me as wrong as Cindy Anderson's dad did. He didn't seem to be that sad at all over his wife's murder, and in the end, he's only lamenting over his unborn kid and not Jody.

Who knows, the plan might have been to kill Jody but not kill the kid.

I wonder if there have been any leads in this case. I also wonder if the ex coworker has been cleared.
I'm surprised this case hasn't been discussed much here, it seems the older (pre-1995) cases get talked about way more here than the more recent ones.

Just wanted to make a correction that her name is Jodie Bordeaux. I'm only putting it here because when I searched her full name, nothing came up. Now this thread should come up in search results. :)

I agree, he rubbed me the wrong well. The guy ran to the kitchen instead of protecting his wife and unborn child. What also jumped out to me is how he mentioned she had turned around to check on him while he didn't even witness it, as if he knew it would be peculiar she wasn't shot in the back while running into the bedroom.

Sad case with an unfortunate racial angle. It will probably never be solved.
