I was sorry to hear this today. It annoys me though that everyone keeps talking about The West Wing. Silver was a great actor who appeared in many things, long before the West Wing. My favorite movie of his was always "Married to It."

I was never into The West Wing and I remember him in other movies.

I remember him from Rhoda! :rip: Ron Silver.

This is so sad. I always liked him. He seemed like a nice person. I had no idea he was sick. Some people decide to keep their illnesses private, while others give interviews. It's just a personal decision, I guess.

Wow, this is sure an unexpected death. :( I really liked Ron Silver, and am saddened by his death. R.I.P. Mr. Silver!!

He was way too young. I remember him as a great character actor in a lot of movies from the '80s. Never really watched West Wing.

I saw Ron in a couple of movies. I saw one he did with Chuck Norris i forgot the name of and i also saw him in Blue Steel with Jamie Lee Curtis. Blue Steel is a good flick. He was crazy in that one. RIP Ron.
