Pretty sure that "A Pup in Paris" is edited, seeing as how it originally ran 23:10, I would bet that the "Paris in Springtime" montage is missing, where Fran and Maxwell are seen walking around Paris, just before the nightclub.. its roughly a minute of footage, but.. the other runtimes match my unedited copies about perfectly.. so they should be allright.

Got my copy today and immediatly checked it. It is edited, but in a less horrible way than I thought.. the DVD review has this episode falsely listed as 22:10 but its 23:12 :D the song has been replaced though, but no video footage is missing. That would mean that the DVD possibly has some songs replaced but no video footage appear to be missing, I could be wrong though.

I bought my copy today, when I arrived at Best Buy there was only one copy left, so I snatched it before anyone else. I'll be watching The Nanny all night.:)

My copy arrived from Amazon today. You're right, Pav, the packaging is a major fail. But we've been waiting so long for these eps, I almost don't care! :D I've already watched my all-time fave, "The Pen Pal," and it's so great to see all the lines that Lifetime cut!

Glad to finally have the third season on DVD. If I have one bone to pick though, it would be that some of the music has been obviously switched out. Two examples that readily come to mind are in PEN PAL (during Fran's fantasy as an astronaut, the 2001 theme music has been replaced by generic music) and the most GLARING one occurs during VAL'S APARTMENT (when they open the door wondering if there may be some "straight guys" in the building, some generic disco music replaces "CLANG CLANG CLANG WENT THE TROLLEY...", which also ruins the effect of the joke considerably).

Aside from that it's great to finally have Niles having CC "cluck like a chicken!" on DVD. :lol:

I know that Sony changed the packaging for the Season 3 DVD, but does it still come with an episode guide like Season 1 & 2 did?
