I went to a link of a blog on the Amy Billig thread called Forensic Astrology. The most current blog entry is about the Tammy Lynn Leppart case. It's kind of an interesting read.

I'm not sure if I believe everything can be read in the stars, but who knows? There was an UM segment on charts for Jeffrey Dahmer, Saddam Hussein, and another murderous personality (I don't recall - it could have been Hitler), which seemed to be close to accurate. (Of course, they were done after the fact.)

The prolem i have with both suspects in that there methodology is via trapping the victim via a job as a model.

1. Tammy already had a job she was about to go on, prior to her disappearance
2. Tammy was so paranoid, would she really trust someone like Wilder.
3. There has been no evidence of anyone like Wilder in connection with Tammy.

If Wilder killed Tammy he would have to have found her while she was wandering the streets barefoot and lured her into his car.

Which leads to something that has bothered me about this case.

How could nobody have spotted Tammy walking barefoot for a long period of time?

If she walked into a building, someone would have noticed her.

If she was kidnapped she would have to have entered a car or van alnmost less than half and hour to when she was dropped off.

And for that matter.

I've been mad at a lot of girlfriends in my life, but i've never gone as far as to just leave them walking barefoot miles from home. That act always seemed suspicious to me.

That has always bothered me too. I wonder if the cops really looked hard at the boyfriend.

I've talked with Tammy's sister on another board, but I forgot to ask her about that detail.

How did the boyfriend think she was going to get home? She was barefoot, so it's unlikely she was going to be able to walk the whole way home. In the reenactment, she didn't have a purse IIRC, so she couldn't use a payphone to call for a ride home, and that leaves her having to either hitch hike home or hope that she could get someone in a business some where to let a barefoot girl come in and use their phone for free.

I have wondered about him as well,

1. he;s the last person to see her alive.
2. he;s the only source to pinpoint her timeline and the last place she was at.
3. Tammy seemed to have had an important place to go that last day, and he happens to be the person she was meeting or the person who was taking her to this meeting?
4. Where were they going, if Tammy hadn;t gotten out of the car? Where did he go after she got out of the car?
5. Was he the father of Tammy's child? Did he know the father of Tammy's child? Did he know she was pregant?
6. What was the reason for the argument?
7. Most importantly who was he? What was his relationship to Tammy? His job?

If Tammy's sister is out there I would like to know if the she ever got answers for these questions.

I wondered about some of those things too. First of I thought it was weird that her boyfriend left barefoot miles from home. I have argued with boyfriends in the car and they would usually get take me home. I find it weird that nobody noticed her barefoot either. I think the boyfriend should have been looked into it more deeply.

I thought I read somewhere that she wasn't barefoot, that it was misinformation that she was...I think it was in that psychic's website. Not that I believe everything but she had to get that from somewhere because it was not presented as part of her reading.

Doenetwork says this:

Circumstances of Disappearance
Leppert, a teen-model who specialized in posing for swimsuit ads and played bit parts in Scarface and Spring Break, left her house barefoot and without money. Leppert, whose resume lists Miss Teen Florida and Miss Sun and Surf titles among her accomplishments, drove away with a male friend, who later told police he left her outside a Cocoa Beach bank after an argument.

And that she may have been 3 months pregnant at the time of her disappearance. And you know what I always say... the number one killer of pregnant women is the baby daddy. I'd be looking at that boyfriend again, if I were the cops.

Complete speculation on my part, but what if the argument was about getting an abortion. He wanted one and she didn't, so he took care of getting rid of the baby by getting rid of the mama. It happens all the time.

Oh, and another thought... How many times have we heard the man say, "she went out for a walk after we had an argument" or "she went out to buy cigarettes after we had an argument" or "we had an argument and she left without taking her purse, her keys, her car, or her money"?

yeah, it's like that...

Thanks Obi.

Something else i thought of was that if Tammy was pregnant, that would kind of put a crimp on her Hollywood career. With her breakdowns added on to being an expecting mother could send her career crashing down. Possibly even lead to money problems.

1.Someone brought this up earlier, but a far-fetched as it might seem, might this be a "Judy Himes" type situation with an unsucessful abortion?

2. I'm surprised I never thought of this before, but Tammys mental breakdown is not that uncommon to victims of sexual assault.

I wonder if she was raped or coerced while she was on set. Hollywood types can be like that and have been known to 'pimp' out starlets for favors.

The vanishing act was planned. Even to the point of informing the police, perhaps through a court order.

Though the police claim nobody has seen or heard from Tammy sinc that day, this is not true and both sightings & contacts from tammy have been reported.

Tammy wanted out of the low income lime light in a career change that was not compatable with her mothers child talent business.

Though Keith may have dropped her off at the glass bank, walking distance from the glass bank is both the police department and court house. She was sometime later seen at Keiths and even months later seen at a bar after a ladies only show.

The 72 hour mental observation was for the purpose of establishing evidence of sanity as would be required by a judge before making a gag order to the police. For someone of local celebrity status, there had to be adult status (18) and evidence of sanity. The police cannot even directly say they cannot say. But they will humor those who are persistant.

Her own mother knew this though she had no choice but to file a missing person report, otherwise look bad as a parent, not to mention as Tammys talent agent. Of course the police know the missing person report is only part of the cover as is the promoted doom and gloom story line of an innocent girl.

None of this is doom and gloom innocent is true .... but quite the opposite of the career path Tammy took and her mother continued to collect a percentage of what Tammy did.
The doom and gloom innocent only directs people to look where she is not to be found.

Family and friends that Tammy found herself compelled to contact, were contacted by her though perhaps not in the way they would like to have heard from Tammy.

Its all about keeping the truth of what happened, hidden. What would public knowledge of Tammy being a professional call girl do to her mothers business?

It is possible the legal system was played to believe something not true but served its purpose fo obtaining a gag oirder for the police. But it all fits privacy rights.

Because it was a planned vanishing act and not a real missing person, in that the police knew ahead of time, there is no contacting so claimed family members and telling them she is ok but wants her location privacy. It is only the place of law enforcement to contact Tammy with anyone that wants to hear from her that the information its passed to her and she makes the choice wether or not to contact such person.

The unsolved mystery episodes as well as the majority of newspaper articles (Billy Cox) as well as the police report itself is all by Lindas direction.

And this is as real as it gets. It is why there is seemingly such a mystery as teh mystery is intentional and as a side effect of trying to cover the truth with something of a parrallel explaination of events (i.e. 72 hour mental observation due a break down or to obtain evidence of sanity? Keith droped her off at the glass bank or the court house.... etc..)

A little more information is that there was a ID change. A name change and even probably a SS# change. The person Tammy went to when she reportedly left the Scareface Set was Walter Lebowitz, their legal consultant and friend. He is also a Florida disbarred Lawyer and from what I can tell, for selling a child for 10 grand ,.... so yes they had the legal knowledge as to how to pull this off.

So even if the police found her, she could show them ID that proves she is not Tammy.
