On both this page and the page for "Facts of Life", I have started various threads regarding how similar the two sereis were. There were both on the same channel and both popular with the same Generation X crowd. There were also countless actors and actresses who made guest appearances on both show! However, when it comes to "Sitcoms Online" the two are as different as night and day! That show's page is flooded with posts from everybody and their brother and this one very seldom gets any posts by anyone other than me! In addition to that show having had a slightly longer prime-time run and probably being a little more popular in its day, I can think of one other possible explanation as to why this is. The first three seasons of that show are out on DVD in the United States and the first one season of this sereis is out. Because I wanted the second season badly enough, I ordered it from Canada! These are the only two seasons that have been released anywhere in the world. Over on the "Facts" page a lot of the threads are by people belly aching about wanting to see more seasons released. They have really waxed elaquaint about writing to the compnay, contacting the studio and all of that. I am surprised that more "Gimme a Break!" fans are not posting similar messages on this page! The only thing that I can think of is that they have given up hope of ever seeing more seasons released and have moved on. Dose anyone reading this think that this is a logical explanation?
