According to another forum which has a "source at Sony", there are plans to release Season 8 on Tuesday, July 14. :happyface

There is also discussion to release a complete 'box set' of all 8 DVDs at the end of the year ( probably by the Christmas season).

I will keep everyone posted as I get new info.

(BTW - this source said Season 7 would be out in early February sometime last summer - and he/she was right!).

Anyone here buying the complete boxset? That would be a "must have" for any die-hard fan.

I'm not buying the complete box set if one comes out because it will have season 8. I don't like this last season because of the stale stories and the way Elizabeth does her hair and clothes. I already have seasons 1 - 7 and consider that the complete set for me. :D

I'm a die hard fan and it is NOT a must have! Sony is trying to double dip by including extras with the complete set. But Sorry Sony--you treated us hardcore fans who bought each season like crap by not including any worthwhile extras, not restoring the proper theme songs to each season, etc etc.

I have to agree with you Judd. With all the Bewitched promos, commericals etc. floating around they could have made their way on to any of the season DVD's.

Same here! If I do get it, it will be a bday or Christmas present for a friend.

As I first posted ("leaked" :lol: ) back on March 12, there's some good news for fans this summer (see my OP)! Sony has now offically announced Season 8 will be released on July 14. :crazy:

I will keep you posted on the boxed set which they tentatively have planned for a US release later this year.

The complete series was already released in Japan. It includes "Tabitha" also. I think the only additional extra would be commentary and interviews from Erin Murphy. Just like I Love Lucy, you have to buy the complete series just to get whatever extras there are, when die hards already bought the whole series by season. This sucks!
