Since a lot of people have pointed out the inconsistencies so to speak about the apartment building. I thought I would post pictures how the building changed.
I don't know how to do this correctly, so I will do it my way.
The first picture is from the episode entitled: "The Quiz Show." I think we are supposed to believe that this is the back of the building.
The second picture from the same episode, we see the man walk over the Mertz apartment (which is on the ground floor.)
The third picture is from "Pioneer Women."
(Don't forget that the Ricardos lived in the fourth floor in the storyline. Yet, in "The Fur Coat", Fred was somehow able to use a ladder to get to the Ricardo's bedroom window. Also, in "The Girls Go Want To Go To A Nightclub" as well as "Quiz Show", the Mertzes live below the Ricardos. Yet in "New Neighbors", Lucy accidentally fires a gunshot into her the Ricardo's apartment ceiling, yet somehow causing the Mertz apartment to get flooded. In other words, in the latter episode, the Mertzes live above them.)
By "Never Do Business With Friends", the Ricardos move to a bigger apartment. This railing conects the Ricardo's new kitchen to the Mertzes kitchen I believe. The fourth picture is from that episode.
The fifth picture is from the outside of the the living room window from "Crying Wolf."
The sixth picture is of the front of the apartment building from "Getting Ready."
The seventh picture is from the outside of the living room window from "Lucy & Superman" (notice the difference from the fifth picture.)
By the way, when the Ricardos moved to a bigger apartment in "The Ricardos Change Aprtments", wasn't it implied that the bigger apartment above the old apartment and later on, wasn't it implied that the bigger apartment below the Mertzes? I might be wrong and I probably am.
