I never have, but my dad does, and I use to ride on the back with him as a young kid. It was always so much fun, and is something I'm thinking about getting into one day. Anyone here ride, or has anyone here ever had the experience of riding with someone?

My hubby and I use to have a 1986 Honda about 5 years ago it was a lot of fun. We sold it to make some extra cash.

That's cool!! It must have been alot of fun! My ex-girlfriend also use to ride, but sold hers, because she almost got into an accident, as a result of a bad driver. Thankfully nothing serious happened, but it was a close call.

I've never had the opportunity, but would ride with someone if I got the chance.

They are definetly dangerious, although that is part of the thrill.

I never have and I never will. My uncle was killed at the age of 21 when his motorcycle hit a sign. I never met him because of that. You couldn't pay me enough to sit on one.

I never have been on one either. No one I know owns one which probably accounts for having not been on one lol.

I think those 3-wheeler motor cycles are much safer. I bet it would be fun to ride one of those. :D

My husband has one like this a GSXR 600 Suzuki, i ride on the back its alot of fun but it can be dangerous he has already wrecked twice, the first time wasn't his fault a truck pulled out in front of him, people need to really look out for motorcyclists.
I would love to learn how to ride one day.

Yeah it seems that there are a lot of motorcycle accidents, and people don't look where they are going.

Those of you who are into motorbikes, have you read Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance?

I'm so sorry I missed your post. :( I just noticed it as I was going through old posts.

In answer to your question, my dad still rides, but not as much anymore. He has Diabetes, and his vision has affected his ability to ride as safely as he'd like to unfortunately.
