To be honest, I dont care for the first few Seasons. I think Joyce De Witt was the most attractive gal on the show- and I actually liked it better after Suzanne Somers left. She got annoying towards the end.
I much prefer the 80s Three's Company. The show got lighter and funnier. John Ritter grew into his character more. And I liked Terry better. Even Cindy was funny (I know a lot of people dont like Cindy, but I do!)
Don Knotts was way better than The Ropers. They were depressing. And it got old with Mrs Roper always talking about never being satisfied , and Mr Roper looking into the camera.
I think maybe in general I didnt like the 70s feel the show had in the beggining. When Jack talked about "the sexual revolution" that sure dated things A LOT. The 80s were much better.

The 70's era of the show and the 80's era definitely have separate feels to them. I don't know, right now I've been on a 70's Three's Company kick. It depends on my mood, I guess. I wouldn't say I like either one better than the other, though.

I watched a few episodes the other night and I agree...I loved seasons 6-8. Chrissy annoyed me, although Janet was sorta annoying in the later seasons as well. Even though she was my favorite girl. Terri was my favorite blonde! And John - what an awesome actor!

I think the second and third seasons were the best but I do agree that the later seasons were good too. I think TC was one of the few shows that thrived because of the cast changes. It kept the show real fresh.

SO TRUE!! Terri was by far the best 2nd female roomate on the show next to Janet of course and then was Cindy with Chrissy being a distant last.
Chrissy's dumb act got old fast and it got stupid seeing he act dumb over and over. Also, the fact she was a selfish greedy snob certainly didn't help.
They actually had their best shows EVER during the last 2 seasons and it would've been great if they could've made it last just ONE more season with Terri, Janet, and Jack and of course Mr.Fuhrley, who was much funnie than the Ropers.
I heard there were a few unused scripts left that were never used. Does anyone know what those were about? I guess they would've been used if there was a season 9/
