It seems that all of the pages of this site go in spurts in terms of peoples' posts. Just like with this page, the page of "Friends" had seemed very dead for the longest time! However, during the past few days it has picked up full speed! It is because of this I have decided to give an old topic another chance. This topic is related to the painting of nails. You see, in my opinion, depending on the circumstances, one activity that seems shallow and superficial in one situation can look sexy and sophisticated in another! In this case, painting your nails is the activity. My last thread on the topic of "Samantha's Protest" on this page is called "Katie's Mits/Julie's Teeth". You would have to read the post itself to understand the title. In any event, I though that Katie acted very unfeeling and self-involved throughout the episode. It is because of this that I was happy to see her bubble burst at the end! One of the shallow things that she did was abstain from helping Samantha protest becasue she wanted to paint her nails! However, there was once a "Friends" episode in which Monica and Pheobe were siting on their respective beds doing their nails. I thought that they looked hot and I really appreciated the female bonding! It just goes to show that circumstance can make all the differene in the world! Less than an hour ago, I started a thread on the "Friends" page pitching this idea. Now I am pitching it to you guys!
