Anyone remember the case with Stanley Gryziec? he was shot in his home, police said he was stabbed. had something to do with a liquor store/ hired person to kill him?

Was there ever any updates, was this ever solved?

Unsolved, as far as I am aware.

Who was involved, what really happened, what were the surrounding circumstances etc.?

i dunno, didnt it have something to do with the brother too. maybe they were involved in shady activities??

Well the pub/bar was supposed to have been used for gambling and drug dealing hence why it's license was revoked.

It's possible this started with the brother (who died) and then when Stanley tried to get it under control he just couldn't and the bad guys came after him because he had drawn attention to it in the pub and got the place shut down which was a den and a big money-spinner for their dealing.

With that joint out of action, where would they go next to supply drugs - it would've lost them a lot of money?

Maybe Stanley was more straight-laced than his brother and wanted to do things right. Whatever the big secret was that his brother told him, they never spoke again for a long time (or at all was it?)
