Didn't have enough space in my thread to spell "Korean War". Well did they in any Mash ep?

Well I remember them talking about the Chinese a lot and talking about the North Koreans occasionally but I don't remember them talking about who started the war. It seems to me they were far more interested in the war ending so they could all go home.

I'm inclined to agree with 'Marvo' on this one. Both the Chinese and N. Koreans are indeed mentioned in some episodes however blame is never placed in either the movie or tv series.

Although I believe in one episode, Hawkeye has Radar send a telegram to the President Truman asking " who's responsible" ?

Remember, if the Chinese and North Koreans had not wrongly tried to take the rest of the Korean peninsula to begin with the Korean War would never have been to begin with. At jumptheshark.com (in a now defunct portion of the site) it was argued that the show Mash was propaganda when it came to mentioning the fact that the Chinese and North Koreans were responsible for the whole thing and most of the time when the communists were shown on Mash it was in a very sympathetic light!

Rightfully pointing out on M*A*S*H that North Korea started this bloody war by invading South Korea in 1950 would not have fit with Alan Alda’s agenda.
