Just wondering if there was any reference to the Jeffersons years later once they moved out of the neighborhood?
I'm asking because I see the Jeffersons mentioned the Bunkers at some point on their show like in 1979.
I know that George and Louise appeared separetly on All in the Family years later so maybe there may not have been a reference since they actually showed up in 1978 and 1979

Solomon, I think I remember an episode in the shows last season when it was on sundays, when that other black couple moved in after Mike and Gloria had moved out-what were their names? I think it was Ed and Polly?-anyway, Archie or Edith mentioned to them something like "Another black couple used to live here."
I think; I'm not sure.

When did George and Louise appear on "All in the Family"? I don't remember them going back.
I know Archie and Edith were in flashbacks on the Jeffersons and there was a reference to them both in the Jeffersons 1979 episode "Where's Papa?"
But I don't remember George or Louise going back to "All in the Family." Am I wrong or did I misunderstand what you were saying?

George returned to All in the Family in the 1978 episode called-"Mike's New Job"
Louise returned to All in the Family in the 1979 episode called-"The Family Next Door"

It caught me by a surprise too. But I guess George appearing on All in the Family made more sense than Archie appearing on the Jeffersons because George still had a cleaning store in queens. Wouldn't have been no reason for Archie to go all the way to the East Side when he was not friends with george

George returned to All in the Family in the 1978 episode called-"Mike's New Job"
Louise returned to All in the Family in the 1979 episode called-"The Family Next Door"
Also, on the Jeffersons, there was the three part episode, "George and Louise in a Bind" (Season 4) which not only referred to the Bunkers, but showed clips of All in the Family as flashbacks as they were reminiscing.
Then there was, as someone else mentioned, the episode "Where's Papa" (1979) where a hypnotist tried to bring back some of George's memories embedded in his subconscious. After George "re-lives" a fight with Archie, the hypnotist replies (referring to Archie)," He must have been a real meat-head." Louise smiles and says, "His wife was nice."
It actually would have been cool if George and Louise made an appearance in the episode of Archie Bunker's Place where Edith died. The Jeffersons was starting its 7th season at that point, as Archie Bunkers Place was starting it's 2nd (or by technicality, All in the Family's 11th).

That would be interesting. Both of them would be surprised at each other. After all, George would be surprised to know that Archie's business partner is Jewish, his waiter is gay, and so on.
Archie would be surprised that George would not be as quick tempered as he once was in "Bunkerville".

I remember one episode of The Jefferson where George was on an episode of All in The Family when Mike Gloria and Joey were moving Out Of Town.
