Family Matters must be doing amazingly well to break up the hour of GL.

But ANOTHER George Lopez marathon? Really?

So is this the new permanent schedule change for NAN?

I agree - Family Matters must be doing amazingly well to air 3 episodes in a row. Reminds me of what NAN was doing with Roseanne a few years back. But, that also meant overkill of the show. I hope that doesn't happen with FM.

Also seems like NAN finally got tired of Home Improvement's ratings. They're probably thinking GL can help start off the night better, which I don't blame them for.

I thought Home Improvement was doing well. Oh well, I can always watch my dvd of season 2 at 9:00. I guess George Lopez did really well at 9 last week

I think George is a better show to transition from Nick to Nick at Nite than Home Improvement. At least George still has 2 episodes, just not back-to-back.

This is great that Family Matters is going to be airing at 9:30 pm CT Time on Nick@Nite.

Wasn't Home Improvement's strength always at midnight anyways?

I may be new and late to the party here, but I am PISSED (can we use that word here?) that Home Improvement is being casually "bumped" from the 9:00 slot. I can't stand George Lopez. Why is he taking over that whole time?

Home Improvement is a great show and a great way to end my day. But there isn't anywhere to complain over on the Nick site, so I just change the channel.

I agree 100% with breezen. To me it seems like they are slowly trying to get rid of it so they can bring in a new show. I really wish there was a place to complain over at the nick at nite website.

Home Improvement does better at midnight than 9pm, though. They needed better ratings at 9 and George is their highest rated show.

They probably are trying to bump it from primetime, though. This schedule seems very temporary to me - I doubt it'll last long, especially if The Nanny is supposedly coming in Apri. With 3 airings of Family Matters, my guess would be The Nanny taking one of those over, possibly the 10:30 airing.

I can't stand George Lopez.

I can't either. Nick at Nite is dead to me and that breaks my heart because I used to LOVE the channel.

I have to agree. I'm not a GLo fan either, but I do like Home Improvement and Family Matters, but even with those airing, I don't watch the channel. And it's unfortunate, too - when ABC Family aired FM, I watched it nearly every afternoon. But for some reason, the show just isn't appealing to me when it airs on Nick at Nite.

It's almost like the whole channel has become a place for 12 year olds who just got their bedtime extended. Does anyone else get that kiddish feel watching NAN?

I like "Home Improvement" but not enough to watch it randomly (and edited) on TV. I just watch my DVDs now and then when I'm in the HI mood. I also like "Family Matters" and watch it once in a while on N@N, but that's only because they don't have it on DVD. I never watched it on ABC Family because I was at work when they would air it and I don't have TIVO, nor do I care enough to record it and watch it later.

It's ironic George Lopez is doing better than Home Improvement on Nick at Nite. In their original runs GL couldn't even make the top 30, while Home Improvement hit #1 at its peak and was a top 10 show its entire run.

You can't judge 2 shows by how it did in primetime because in syndication a show gains a new fanbase since it's not on during 8pm to 10pm

Based on seeing how well GLo has done, I bet Everybody Hates Chris will do just as well.

Coming this summer...

Kevin Nealon, Catherine O'Hara, Judy Greer to Headline Nick At Nite's New Stop-Motion Animated Comedy, Glenn Martin, DDS from Michael Eisner's Tornante Animation

Original Series to Debut This Summer

NEW YORK, March 12 -- A star-studded voice-over cast featuring Kevin Nealon (Weeds, Anger Management), Catherine O'Hara (For Your Consideration, Chicken Little) and Judy Greer (27 Dresses, Miss Guided) has been tapped for Nick at Nite's upcoming stop-motion animated comedy, Glenn Martin, DDS set to premiere this Summer. The first television production to come from Michael Eisner's Tornante Animation, Glenn Martin, DDS follows a beleaguered dentist and his family trading in the suburbs for life on the road. Crisscrossing the country, the Martins are beset by an array of colorful locals and crazy situations in locations ranging from Las Vegas to Amish Country. Many of the characters they encounter are voiced by enough instantly recognizable guest stars to fill a parking lot of RVs, including: Chrissie Hynde, Betty White, Gene Simmons, Wendie Malick and more.

Each of season one's 20 episodes follows the life of Glenn Martin (Kevin Nealon), who yearns for a change of scenery and a deeper connection with his family. Determined to bring the family closer together, Glenn takes the Martins on a road trip to protest the destruction of a beloved childhood park. As things unravel right from the get-go, the family is forced to make the dental-mobile - replete with a giant decorative toothbrush on the roof - their new home. Glenn, Jackie and Courtney (Jackie Clarke) - an 11-year-old future corporate maven who brings along her personal assistant, Wendy (Judy Greer), a 14-year-old North Korean exile - and son, Conor (Peter Oldring), the 13-year-old hormone-addled tween who's not exactly the sharpest tool in the shed--quickly learn when hitting the road that the road can sometimes hit back in unexpected ways. The Martins are accompanied on their journey by the family dog, Canine, who's pronounced buttocks only add to the hilarity.

The show was developed for Nick at Nite by Michael Eisner, who co-created the series along with Alex Berger. The show is being produced by Steven Cohen and Noel Bright for Tornante Animation, a division of The Tornante Company LLC. Eric Fogel, of MTV's Celebrity Deathmatch fame, will supervise the animation while the writing team of Sivert Glarum and Michael Jamin serve as show runners.

"As we continue to fortify Nick at Nite with co-viewing entertainment, we couldn't be more excited about enlisting Michael Eisner, a man who knows a thing or two about entertaining families," said Marjorie Cohn, Nickelodeon's Executive Vice President, Development and Original Programming. "Eisner brought us this groundbreaking series that puts a bright spotlight on the modern American family in a laugh-out-loud new comedy. Taking the Martins on the road across America allows us to explore the beauty - and comedy - of the family dynamic as the Martins play out in contemporary culture."

"Nick at Nite is one of the most recognized and respected names in family programming and we're very excited that Glenn Martin DDS will be a part of the upcoming summer lineup," said Michael Eisner, The Tornante Company. "Watching what this incredibly talented cast and crew is capable of has been a gratifying and totally hilarious experience. What a wonderful way for Tornante Animation to break into the animated entertainment space."
