I don't know what it is about today. I am just not feeling like myself. Our family is going through some things and I really miss my grandma so much. Anytime I was feeling sad or down she always knew just what to say to make me feel better and give me strength. I have been thinking so much about her lately it's like everything reminds me of her. I wish I could just hug her again just one more time and feel her love. This is so hard to deal with.

Wow, Monar! I'm really sorry to hear you're so down. I know where you're coming from - there are times I wish my mother-in-law could stand right next to me and hug me and tell me everything is going to be all right. She always knew how to sort things out for me when I could not. She's gone from this life now, but will forever be a part of me.

Things will be better soon, Monar - have faith!

Thank you all for your sweet words. I really appreciate it.

I never knew just how hard it is to deal with the loss of a loved one. She was such a strong woman and always had a way to cheer me up. I miss her so much now more then ever.

My hubby, my son, and I went to a beautiful park and took our dog for a nice long walk it was very relaxing and I got to clear my head a bit. That helped. :)

I'm so sorry for the way you're feeling right now MonarC!! :( I wish there were something I could do to make you feel better. Just know that your Grandma is probably looking down at you and smiling, and that you can talk to her at anytime through prayer. My hope is that that will comfort you during this rough time. God Bless You!!!

Sorry to hear you're down Ardis. Hopefully it's just the end of winter blues for a day or two. That walk with your husband and dog actually sounds wonderful. I wish I could do that. I know it would sure help my head. Believe me, you ARE blessed.

Take a look at the "Seeing Eye Cat" thread I started. It's a little tough to read (and I couldn't copy the text), but it warmed my heart earlier today and it should yours. Friends come in many shapes and forms. :)

Thank you all so much. I really appreciate all the love and support. It means a lot. I feel better now. It's just those moments of weakness. Just dealing with the everyday stress of life along with other issues sometimes I feel like I can't take it anymore, but we have to draw strenght from somewhere. Your all the best. You really are. Thank you.

MonarC, I also know what it's like to lose someone very special to me. I am also dealing with a number of issues in my life right now, too. Just keep the faith like you are doing, and it will get better.

Glad to hear that walk lifted you up.

Take care.

I've been there, sweetie....more times than not.....I've lost so many people in my life since the decade started, esp my older brother( 2yrs in July) and my friend, Seth, in 2005, in Iraq.

I'm really sorry Ardis. I too am really close to my grandma. She has lived with me my whole life and always took care of me during the week when my parents were at work. I couldn't even imagine her being gone- so for that, I give you props for being as strong as you are! I'd definitely be a mess. Keep your head up ;).

Thank you so much for all your uplifitng words. I know alot of people are down right now. Times are tough. I think a thread like this really helps. It makes you feel like your not alone. Everyone gets depressed. We all just have to try and find the positive things and the things that make us happy to find relief. Im feeling a little better today but like I said it's a daily struggle. Thank you everyone. Your all so sweet. :loveya:

It's times like these when we need to band together for each other. I don't think I've ever known another time in my life where so many people were going through hard times and are down.

It's only by lifting each other up when we need it that we'll get through this. And it's global too - from North America right over to Europe, etc.. At least it is a smaller world now so it's easier to reach out than ever before.

We'll get thru it........as long as our computers don't all crash!! ;)

Yeah, LOL. But that's why it's important to have people around in "real life" as well.

That's true, friends and family are good to have in these times. :) Be strong everyone. That's what I keep telling myself. Be strong and be positive.

Life is getting very stressful these days, its hard to stay positive sometimes.
