What if someone started a new talk show at the legendary 30 Rock in NYC and no one talked about it??? Surprised I couldn't even find a single thread about Jimmy Falons' debut last night 3/3/09......also I barely saw any pre-press or TV stories........before my review of the first episode, I will say last night was historic because we only see that time slot change hosts every 10 years or so over the past 35 years!.....Snyder, Letterman, O'Brien, and now Fallon.......my fast review......it was pretty bad......I know opening night nerves, but the writing was weak.....the first audience interaction bit and it was "Lick it For $10"....dump the segment NOW.....He was extremely unconfortable with Robert Deniro, the highlight was Justin Timblerlake, who I'm not really a fan of, but he usually is a great amusing guest and he didn't fail.....made you feel like they should have given the hosting duties to Timberlake! Not that he would have ever taken it........I have nothing against Falon, he has always been likeable enough, but this show needs WORK!
