Na Na Na Na Na Na Hey Hey Hey Goodbye

Let's face it, We all have shows that we never liked and were glad when they got the boot to make room for something we actually enjoyed watching. What shows were glad to see get the heave-ho?

"Laverne And Shirley"-sorry, I never saw the appeal. Way too much slapstick.

"Alice"-I found the premise to be very lackluster.

I cant wait for The Simpsons to be cancelled someday. I always hated that show. I also cant wait for Desperate Housewives to be cancelled someday. I was really glad to see Boston Legal get shoved down the garbage can. The characters on that show IMO were nothing but bad trash. I just hope the characters from Boston Legal dont stand out in the front yard too long because the trash man may haul them away.

Whoopi! Only because her character had to constantly be seen smoking. It was disgusting. I like Whoopi Goldberg though, I just wish she had sense enough to not glorify smoking.

I assume were just talking about script tv here. I could go on and on over reality shows that have been cancelled.

You can name any show you want including reality.

Well, in that case, I wish the following would be cancelled:

The Bachelor
I Love Money
Tool Academy
Survivor

And every other reality show on MTV. Remember when MTV was about music? Wow. Those were the days.:(

No kidding; what a waste of airtime. Does anyone care that it's on anymore?

I'll be glad when Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice get canned. What a waste of airtime and talent. puke: And the media acts like it's sooooo awesome! I'll also not mourn the loss of CSI:Miami.

I would have been happier that KOTH got canned if it would have gotten canned 3 years ago.

No show involving tools has been good since 'Home Improvement" went off the air.

For me I can't really say that I have been "glad" to hear that a show I did not like got canceled.

By me not watching the program it "doesn't exist" according to me because I ignore it.

Seinfield - lock them up and never let them see the light again!
Full House
Friends
Mork and Mindy - this show kinda overstayed its welcome
Gimme a Break! - this show should've ended after Doplh Sweet died.
Cavemen - ABC needs a kick in the @$* for ever thinking about giving the Cavemen commercials guys their own to begin with!
War at Home, The - Maybe a more appropriate title for this show should've been "Our War with Pot," b/c basically almost every single friggin' episode involved pot one way or another.

Hopefully these PoS's die down one day:

Most of these reality shows (especially the ones on MTV and VH1! And American Idol, too!)

Desparate Housewives (my crystal ball says this show could be nearing its end soon now that Nicollette Sheridan is leaving the show)

Deal or No Deal - the primetime gimmick-fest on NBC too also overstayed its welcome. Ever since late S1 and early S2, this show has been getting progressively worse w/ the b-s gimmicks and melodrama cutting to commercials too often.

The series "Sex And The City" is over. It ended in 2004.

The movies are still going on so technically "Sex" is not over yet but the series is. Don't know if that makes any difference to you lol.

Mister Sterling - I couldn't help but feel vindicated when this short-lived drama (that replaced my beloved Providence on NBC Friday nights) got the ax due to low ratings.

I can't say I was ever glad a show I disliked got cancelled because I didn't waste my time paying attention to or worrying about shows I don't watch.

There are shows I liked that I was glad because they finally ended for the fact that instead of going out strong they ran themselves into the ground-

Laverne & Shirley- it was bad enough when they moved to Hollywood, but then trying to keep going when it was only Laverne.

The Cosby Show- One of several family sitcoms that when the kids got too old they bring on a new one(Raven-Symoné), and evidently she wasn't enough because they then brought on Clair's niece or cousin or whoever she was.

The Waltons- I still liked the show after Richard Thomas left, but then when they tried to bring John-Boy back, but played by another actor, it was time.

Buck Rogers- The only good thing that came out of them moving to the spaceship was Hawk.

Diff'rent Strokes- It was too late when they finally let Arnold become a teenager. Plus they had to bring on that obnoxious Sam "Yes, Mr D...Yes, Mr. D...Yes, Mr D" Oh, go salute your shorts you annoying little troll.

Coach- Wasn't the same when they moved to Florida.

Dukes of Hazzard- This was my favorite show as a kid, but when they brought on Coy and Vance....
