Hogan Plans Comeback Bout

Semi-retired wrestling legend Hulk Hogan wants to climb back into the ring for one more match.

Hogan, real name Terry Gene Bollea, has been making occasional appearances in the wrestling world since announcing his retirement from the sport on U.S. TV in 1998.

Bollea, who has also had a number of film roles, rose to stardom in the mid 1980s, and in 2005 was inducted into the World Wrestling Entertainment Hall of Fame. He has been the World Heavyweight Champion twelve times.

The Mr Nanny star last wrestled in 2007, and revealed to fans on social networking site Twitter he is considering another match.

He wrote: "I spoke with (Chairman of WWE) Vince (McMahon), he is open to me coming back and doing something, maybe at Wrestlemania. Stay tuned Maniacs."

Hulk Hogan couldn't wrestle his way out of a paper sack before going into semi-retirement and I have little doubt that the same will hold true if he does make a so-called comeback.

Hmmm, Hulk Hogan wrestling again huh?? I don't know. I can understand him wanting to come back for one last match, possibly against an opponent that would make him look halfway decent, and let him walk away in the sunset and all, but I truly hope it's really just one more match. I could barely sit still to watch him westle back in the 80's, and that was in his prime, just the thought of watching him wrestle today, is making my eyes droopy as I write this.

He just had back surgery, he should quit while he can still walk.
