I couldn't get on this afternoon either

I ran into the same problem.

Yes the site was down from 3:00 pm until approximate 9:20 pm CT Time.

I got on this morning only to get knocked off. I got an error message when I tried to get back on.

I also had problems getting to this site yesterday afternoon as well.

I think this site was down again today. I couldn't even get on again until just now.

yes I got up this morning to an error Message as well saying Connection Interrupted and that was at 10:40 am Central Time

I had a problem getting on the site yesterday too. :( The message would read "connection timed out". I just got back on 4 minutes ago.

I've actually had that happen several times the past week or so. I keep SO in my "favorites" and couldn't access the link. Then tried keying it into my browser and kept getting the same thing.

Todd's cable connection has nothing to do with this. He doesn't have the server at his house, lol. It is a server problem.

Sorry for the recent problems. We are still experiencing a few issues. It wouldn't even come back up yesterday after rebooting. Today the server has been online and the FTP and e-mail are working, but the site has not been accessible. They are working on it.

can you please tell me what FTP stans for.

I was wondering if one of the admins had come in yet to explain what was up with the server outages. The day before that was the worst outage I've seen in years. :eek:

Not only have I been having trouble getting on at times, but now I can't get to my private messages.

Also, I'll be on the site fine, and then post something (I went to post on Brad's Rate Your Day thread) and then it just knocks me off and a window comes up saying "Oops - looks like your link is broken!". It's driving me nuts.

sometimes I'll click on a thread to open it and nothing happens. It's really getting frustrating.

:lol: Same here! I don't know what I'd do without this place. Probably socialize with real humans. ;)
