I went to Boston last in the summer of 2007. I didn't get the chance to go to the Bull & Finch Pub on Beacon Hill but I went to the replica one.

Bull & Finch is the bar on Beacon Hill that was used for the Cheers exterior.

Cheers in Faneuil Hall is a newer establishment that has a built-in bar replica as that from the show.

I never have, but a kid I went to school with did. He bought a T-shirt as a souvenir and wore it often.

I've been to the Bull & Finch Pub twice; not all that spacious in there and doesn't look anything like the bar you see on tv in the show. (I wonder if the souvenirs are still big sellers...the show has been off the air for over 15 years now.)

Yes, I liked the replica bar. I also love the market that it is located in, Faneuil Hall.

It has good shops there. One of my favorites there that's right near Cheers is a knife shop that is down on a lower level, On The Edge. The store owner had to keep throwing kids out because you have to be 18 and over to go in there without an adult.

Yes I can say that "Cheers-mania" is still there. People still frequent both places and buy lots of things.

That's one of the reasons the recent replica place opened up; to capitalize on the popularity of the show and its connection with Boston.
