Anyone here like the Oblongs? There were only 13 episodes. They've been played over and over on Adult Swim, but I haven't seen any in a while.

its a great show, its just too bad that there were so few episodes

Love this cartoon. Few years ago I was able to get the series on DVD for under $8.00 on Amazon! I wish they would have done more episodes.

The Oblongs (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x9n7jniyWN4) was a short-lived adult animated series that only lasted 13 episodes (an average season one length). It is very underrated and the style of humor is superior to other series like Family Guy and the shock humor is more subtle. The shock humor is the accessory to the joke in this series, meanwhile in Family Guy it is the standalone joke. Every episode is both summarized and reviewed, and I also explain the background of the series and analysis at the beginning and end of the video.

Also this episode hits close to home since I have some mild mental issues myself, so I find quite a few of the characters and situations relatable. The deformities aren't actually disrespectful and the characters are portrayed as liking they way they are and not feeling ashamed. The portrayal of wealth inequality is truthful, genuine, honest, and very comedic. Won't explain too much in the description since you will have to see it for yourself in the video!
