I would venture to guess its either still part of the Sony props that are used, or maybe its around studio city somewhere. From time to time we see props at an online auction site but I would venture to guess if it ever was authenticated and sold it would fetch a pretty penny depending on what all it was used in.

It would be awesome if they would mark pieces and sell them at the end of a show's run, but, I would think that restocking those pieces might be costly too...

I'd be curious if a prop master would answer this question to see what standard procedures are when it comes to when a prop has served long enough...

Or maybe someone knows someone who works for Oprah who can shed light as to if they contacted Fox when they redid the MTM sets for the show...
