Brad wrote to me, and he's having a hard time emotionally. He requested that I pray for him, and to ask others for their prayers. Brad is a big believer in the power of prayer. Please say a prayer that he finds the inner peace he needs. If you don't pray, wish him well. Brad has always been here for everyone, and now he needs us.

Brad, I've been quite concerned about you. I've noticed you haven't been posting and that's never been good news. You've been in my thoughts and prayers daily. Last Friday during my chemotherapy I thought of you. Don't piss me off here Love, (:lol:) you know you HAVE MUCH purpose in life. There are others out there that wouldn't know what to do without you. I know it's tough to see sometimes, but it's so very true. You've had the ups and downs before, and you know this too will pass and you'll be feeling brighter. Don't you dare ever think you have no meaning - you have meaning beyond words. Don't make me come hunt you down! ;)

I know last year when I was feeling all alone, and not even being that religious, I found this poem in a box while unpacking just when I needed a lift the most. After reading this again, and reading some of the Psalms when Christ is having his moment of doubt, it made me realize that you're never alone. And remember, I'm right there in the seat next to you at all times on that flight into the clouds and we're headed for paradise. We might make nasty stops for fuel in places we don't like, but in the end, happiness awaits us.

Footprints

One night I had a dream--
I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord
and across the sky flashed scenes from my life.
For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints,
one belonged to me and the other to the Lord.
When the last scene of my life flashed before me,
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.
I noticed that many times along the path of my life,
there was only one set of footprints.
I also noticed that it happened at the very lowest
and saddest times in my life.
This really bothered me and I questioned the Lord about it.
"Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you,
you would walk with me all the way,
but I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life
there is only one set of footprints.
"I don't understand why in times when I needed you most,
you should leave me."
The Lord replied, "My precious, precious child,
I love you and I would never, never leave you
during your times of trial and suffering.
"When you saw only one set of footprints,
it was then that I carried you."

Brad, you are a wonderful guy and a survivior and I know that you are going to make it through this. Put yourself in God's hands and he will help you through this as he as often helped me through my dark periods. I would like to offer you a quote from the Book of Romans (Romans 8:31) and it goes, "If God be for us, who can be against us".

I also think Michael's lyric from "Anyway" is one to take to heart too. I always keep that song close to be heart as well. The power of music never fails to heal. Good luck, Brad, and God Bless you. You will be in my prayers. :)

I won't bore you all with all the details of what I've been going through, except to say that I have been in a REALLY bad depression for the last couple months, that at times has left me bedridden. I've tried everything I can to get out of it, but no matter what I've tried, the sadness just won't seem to go away. That's why I am so appreciative for your prayers and support, because I know it's the one thing that can get me through this. Thanks again to EVERYONE for your prayers, and kind words, and please know that it truly means the world to me. My words can't even come close to expressing just how much it means, but my hope is that it'll give you some kind of idea of how truly grateful I am. YES, prayer is an absolutely amazing thing. There's nothing in the world like the feeling of people praying for you, and their prayers being answered!! When all else fails in life, there's prayer, and there's nothing thats been proven to be more powerful in my own life than prayer.

I am so glad that my words inspired you, and helped to make your day a good one. Just another example of prayers showing there power in yet another way. I'm also glad that you were able to see the truth in my gratitude, because I truly was moved to tears reading this thread. I'm glad that my gratitude came through fully.

I just want to give you all a little update on me. The update is, YOUR PRAYERS ARE WORKING BIG TIME!!!!!!!!!!!! :) These last three days have been absolutely amazing!!! For over two months, I was absolutely miserable, and completely hopeless, and miraculously, these last three days (particularly today) have been phenomenal. I've had a peace, energy, and hope, that was missing for a long long time, and for the first time in awhile, I have a feeling that everything is going to be okay!!! :D I'm so grateful to all of you, and need you guys to know that this change was because of you!!! Thanks again to EVERYONE who took the time to send their thoughts and prayers, and I want you to know that I will never ever forget this!!! :heart:
