Well both Paris and Mike Myers stink; they tied together with earning the most "wins" this year.

Uwe Boll needs to stop making films.

Razzies Sell DVD's, Too
26 February 2009 1:37 AM, PST

Winners of the annual Razzies awards often see DVD rentals and sales climb following the presentations, Britain's Guardian newspaper reported today (Thursday).

Helen Cowley of Lovefilm, a British online DVD rental service, told the newspaper, The Razzies make people aware of films they wouldn't have gone to the cinema to see. ... Gigli (nine nominations, six wins) was absolutely huge for us -- if subscribers hadn't wasted £10 to see it at the cinema, they rented it from us.

The Razzies get people taking about films." Stuart Kemp, who heads the Hollywood Reporter's U.K. news bureau, agreed. "People will want to see just how bad it was to merit a Razzie," he said.

But actors who win a Razzie aren't likely to appreciate the honor. John Wilson, who created the awards in 1980, told the Guardian, "I like to think we can take credit for some performers who've won a Razzie and then never graced the screen again," he said.

Worst Prequel, Remake, Rip-off or Sequel: Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

Excuse me but, this movie made well over a hundred million, what constitutes a Razzie for this? The movie was pretty good entertainment wise. I don't think they know what the heck they're talking about stupid morons! Also if a movie bombs bigtime, why award them for it? Makes no sense at all, they're just giving it publicity.

Well I don't think a movie's box office makes it good. If I recall Spice World made a lot of money in the box office too and can anybody say that it was a good movie?

Crystal Skull stunk compared to the previous three films. Lot of people didn't like the stupid alien storyline and felt that the film was not needed.

I say Razzie deserved.
