Tonight I went to see Kong's Night Out, the play that Cindy and Eddie are starring in. It was hilarious, and they were both great in it. There was a little adult language in some parts, so their characters were definitely quite unlike Shirley and Carmine, but they were a riot. It was essentially about King Kong and one of my favorite parts was when Cindy's character says to her son in the play, "Get that ****ing monkey!"
Anyway, after it was over I waited by the stage door for them to come out. Eddie came out first and signed my photo, and he was super nice. It was my first time meeting him. Cindy came out right behind him. It was my third time meeting her. Before she went to sign my photo, he told her the correct spelling of my name. I recently bought the photo on eBay, because it was one I had never seen before. Cindy mentioned how nice it was, and Eddie seemed amused by Phil Foster in the photo. He said it looked like he was thinking, "Hurry up and take the picture already."
Eddie then told Cindy he was going to warm up the car. It turned out that they had both driven to the theatre together, which I thought was neat. It seems like they are such good friends. Cindy then actually asked if I needed a ride! I couldn't believe how nice she was to ask that. I said no, and she asked if I was sure. She then said goodnight and I left. It was an awesome night!
