We saw Balki's mama (played by Bronson Pinchot in a dual role) later in the show's run. (I think Balki's father had long since passed on). I seem to remember Larry's parents popping in once or twice, but I'm not sure. Can anyone clarify this?

Don't know about Larry's Mom but we met his Dad, Walter Appleton, in the 2-part 1989 episode Father Knows Best? Walter Appleton was played by James Noble best known as the Governor on "Benson".

YES!!!! I totally forgot that James Noble played Larry's dad. Lisa (BensonFan) would be appalled to hear me say that. :eek: :lol:

Yes, I remember the episode. It was a two-parter where Walter was seen as a perfectionist who Larry could never seem to (in his mind) never "measure up to".
The whole gang ended up stuck in the basement where it was getting flooded.

Never saw part two, though. :( Anybody remember what happened?
