Am I the only fan who never liked Dorothy's sister Gloria? There's something about her character, or the actress (Dena Dietrich) who played her which doesn't "ring true" as the other characters do. There seems to be no chemistry between her and the rest of the cast. Maybe she was just badly miscast?

Is that the Gloria (red head) where she tries to get Sophia to move back to CA with her or the Gloria (blonde) where she sleeps with Stan when the hurrican was "a comin"? I did not really like either actress, but I thought the blonde physically resembled Dororthy more. Ther is a continuity issue regarding Gloria as well - in the episode where we meet Gloria, Dorothy thinks the world of her, but then in the later episode she speaks of her sister as if they are life long enemies...

I think it was a little interesting to have Dorothy's sister appear in a few episodes. It's nice to see some family background or connection in the show. However, I think that the first actress who played Gloria, was a more fitting one for the role - in looks and in aura.

I was referring to the redhead from LA. I don't recall the blonde one! It's true - sometimes they seem like loving sisters, other times they are enemies. I don't get it either.:(
