Does anyone know why there is a movie mchales navy from 1997 in DVD and one in VHS from 1998?

I am very confused by these different titles.

Ones got Tim Conway in it and the other just Ernest Borgnine.

Also, when buying a box set online, with 138 episodes, are there actually 138 episodes or are they including the air force movie and the pilot as well?
