I am seeing a certain pattern regarding the posts that I make on various pages. Once I start a thread, a given number of people view it within a day or so. After that the viewing stops and that tends to be the end of it! The number seems to stagnate thoughout eternity! A good example is a post that I made on the "Caroline in the City" page a while back. Within a couple of days, this thread had nineteen views. After that, the number stayed at nineteen for weeks on end! This inspired me to start a new thread telling my buddies there about this informal research. I called this thread "The Great Nineteenie". I got this title from a "Sesame Street" skit from the early nineties. A few days ago, I started one on this page called "My Friend Florance". The number of views of this one has stangnated at eight for a least a couple of days. That is why I am calling this one, "The King of 8". This is another routine on "Sesame Street". For those of you who are interested, this segment is up on "Youtube". It appears to me that both this sereis and "Caroline in the City" were popular withe the Yuppie Generation. Well, according to my experiences, the people who grew up with the early episodes of "Sesame Street" were the same people who grew up to be the first generation of Yuppies!
