Robbie Rist was the voice of Michealangelo in three "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" movies in the early 90's.

If my memory is correct, there were six episodes with Cousin Oliver in them. It was clear that the show was on its last legs and this was a desperate attempt to salvage it! In any event, the only episode with him in it that I really enjoyed was called the "Snooperstar". My reasons for liking this episode were very similar to my reasons for liking an episode of "Gimme a Break!" called "Samantha's Protest". If anyone would like to know what I liked about both of these situations, they can go down to the middle of this page to a thread called "Two for the Price of One". I am not sure how many veiws it has, but I do know that it has no responses. If you are still interested in what it is all about, you can go over to the "Gimme a Break!" page of this site. My last post on the subject there is called "Katie's Mits/Julie's Teeth". Have fun!

what was Kid Video that Robbie Rist

Kidd Video was a 1980s Saturday morning cartoon. It began with some kids in a garage band being sucked into their radio into another world. There they had to fight the "bad guy" and try to get back home.

A few days ago, I responded to this thread telling you guys about the one episode with Cousin Oliver that I really liked. I then compared it to an episode of "Gimme a Break!" called "Samantha's Protest". In both cases, the thing that I liked about the episode was the circumstance in which a girl's bubble was burst. In both episodes, I thought that the girl really got what she deserved for acting the way that she did! Well, there is another similarity between the two situations that I have posted about before but never got a response to. I think that this topic deserves a second chance! Just like the "Brady Bunch" ran out of plots with the characters that they had, "Gimme a Break!" ran out of things to do with the characters that they had. In both cases, they tried to remedy the situation by adding a little boy to the equation. I believe that the episode that I wrote about in my last post was the very next episode after Oliver's character was introduced. Comparitively, "Samantha's Protest" took place very shortly after they added the orphan boy played by Joey Lawrence. What do people think about the positive corrolation between a little boy getting added to the cast and an existing girl getting her bubble bursted? Have fun with this one!

Robbie Rist also did various guest appearances on CHiPs, and I remember he played a computer whiz in an episode of Simon and Simon.

Of course is most forgettable/unforgettable appearance was in the extremely bad late 90's horror flick- Unseen Evil(along with Richard Hatch and Tim Thomerson)

Robbie Rist was also on the live action Saturday morning show "Big John, Little John". The show was about a fellow who while out on a hike discovers the fountain of youth and takes a drink. The result of this is that occasionally (and at the worst possible moment) he turns into a little kid. And then sometime later(again at the worst possible moment) he would turn into an adult again. Robbie played John as a kid. This show aired in the mid 70's.

Is anyone reading this post a fan of the eighties sitcoms known as the "Facts of Life"? It was one of my favorites! I had the biggest crush on Natelie! I would say that, back in the eighties there were a lot of couch potatoes like me who would watch shows like "The Brady Bunch" in syndication as well as shows like the "Facts of Life" in prime-time! Says something about how much time we spent studying, dose it not? In any event, another sereis that I liked from the same error was "Gimme a Break!" I have already made two responses to this thread regarding parrelells in situations between that show and the "Brady Bunch". In my opinion, for the same reason that Cindy got what she deserved at the end of "The Snooperstar", Katie got what she desrved at the end of "Samantha's Protest"! I have also posted a bunch of messages about this topic on the "Gimme a Break!" page of this site. Well, over on the "Facts of Life" page, I happened to read a thread that had a lot of responses that also had to do with bubble bursting. In response to this, I started a new thread called "High Hopes". I would be very interested in what any of you think of this one!

Robbie Rist was also in the 3 part premiere episode of Galactica 1980, he was replaced after the premiere, reportedly because of some remarks he made.

Robert Reed was also in it.

Cousin Oliver became a part of the show in the fifth and last season. He lasted until the very last episode.

He also had the very last line spoken in the last episode, something along the lines of "It was just a suggestion!".

Pretty close. Oliver suggested making Greg's room a guest room and when they asked who would be the guest he said "Me, cousin Oliver" then when they gave him a "look" he replied "Gosh, it was only a suggestion!" then they laughed.

And so the series ended, though nobody knew that at the time.
