I was hoping it was just a Disney-esque restoration of the original with new inks and paints. Looks like a throwaway opening from the movie that was fully animated but never used. I don't like how they included Sideshow Bob seeing as he's basically a shadow of his former self these days and only used when the writers run out of ideas during the season.

Haha, that was cool! I like how, after all these years, they haven't changed the scanners in the grocery store scene with Marge and Maggie. It's still in the old-school gigantic * shape that I haven't seen in over a decade, at least.

Maybe they're going to change all the added characters and gags every week, much like the chalkboard and couch gags.

See, a few years ago, I would have agreed with that statement. But I really think they've been on an upswing since season 18.

I like the new title, especially the end where Homer actually gets run over by Marge in the garage. :lol:
