Now HERE'S a real charmer of an ep. from the SHOUT! set released last summer. Dave visits his old elementary school and Madge Blake (Aunt Harriet Cooper - Batman) plays one of his former teachers. She intros him to Miss Wilson - who turns out to be a former classmate of Dave's. Well Dave's smitten and begins helping her with a lot of chores for the kids. But...does Miss W like him or not? She does!!! (As we find out in the end.)
Also you get to see a very young "Chip Douglas" (My Three Sons) mid way thru . Two nice songs by Rick @ the end ....who you don't til then (ususual for an ep.) Definitely worth a 2nd look! GR8 ep

Oh I love that episode. Another great Dave episode. Once again Dave starts doing all sorts of things for others and Ozzie's afraid he's being taken advantage of. The subject of the third episode from the series, The Fall Guy.
There were a few early episodes about Dave being to nice a guy with Ozzie and Harriet afraid his good nature is being taken advantage of. Usually it ended up with Dave taking Ozzie's advice to just say no, only to find Ozzie finding himself in need of help from unwilling Dave.
Nice to see that trait of Dave's continue throughout the series. How many times did he also get mixed up with helping Wally with something he didn't want to do because he was to nice to say no? Ummm.. Wally's traffic ticket, and Wally's Recomendation come to mind. lol

Yes, Wally's Traffic Ticket - WHAT A WONDERFUL episode that was. If someone said, quick pick your 10 favoirite Ozzies, this would be defiitely be one. Working the ostrich into the ep was quite clever - IMO one of the VERY BEST eps of the series. (And Wally's Rx ain't bad either ;))

I'll have to notify Stan Livingston that this episode is out there. I sent him an email a while back just letting him know I appreciated his M3S work and he sent a nice reply.
It's more common I guess to see his brother Barry's work on O & H (Barry is best known as "Ernie Douglas").

Yes, come to think of it, you do see Barry quite a bit on O & H as he was a Tiger in some of the eps.

Yeah I have seen more of Barry in O&H than Stanley. Also Barry was used quite a bit as the stand out kid in the group, or the only neighborhood kid.
Another episode I can think of off the top of my head that Stanley is in is oh man what's the name of it.. The one where Ozzie wins a pony and tries to raffle it off to one of the neighborhood kids. Stanley has a cute scene where Ozzie finds him in the garage at night reading the pony a bedtime story. And another scene he is out there brushing the pony with Ozzie's hairbrush.

I've never seen that episode, but I sure would like to find it. Sounds like a good one for sure!

Sounds like a nice ep. Hope I come across it one day!

I listened to most of the interview last night on Shokus radio with both the Livingston boys. It seems Barry has kept busy acting most of his life. Both of them seem grateful and are well adjusted in their adult life. They really seem to care a lot for each other too.

It's always nice to hear positive stories of those who grew up as child actors.
