james g has a thread here about a dumb gimmick that they tried in pro wresitlng and it got me to thinking about other dumb gimmicks and promos that teams have tried over the years to put fans in the seats to me the dumest promo i remember was in 2000 or 2001 from the bulls after they lost jordan pippen and almost all of the championship players the someone in marketing came up with bulls floppy hat day :rolleyes: like that was really going to make the fans forget the rotten front office and the fact that they werent even going to make the playoffs that year what dumb gimmicks to you remember from sports teams?
