It claims to have all 435 episodes.

Never seen that one before. I'm a little leary that they have ALL 435 episodes. I mean that's an awful lot of episodes.

I'm leary of the claim to have all 435 episodes and uncut too. I don't believe ALL episodes have ever been shown again since the original broadcast. I sure would like to hear from anyone that decides to order it though. I know I've spent way more than that buying the 200 or so episodes I have. Has anyone here ever ordered anything from this place?

OH Nuts!

I'm curious too but I tend to be nervous abt sites like this. I've only bought the eps I have in stores - w the exception of the 100 ep set from Mill Creek that I bought thru QVC.

Janine, stay away from outlets like this.....this places are scams out to get your cc info and will most likely ship you crappy product, if anything.

Thank you for all the good advice. It does sound too good to be true.

And $139.95 seems suspiciously cheap for 435 episodes!!

That's about 32 cents an episode!

As Mike Brady says, caveat emptor or in layman's terms, buyer beware! :)

As my grandfather said: There is no such thing as a free lunch. LOL.

Well, if we got about 10 people and shared the cost, that would be about $14 each. We could order a set, check it out, and just keep passing it around to everyone to watch. If ever win the lottery, I'll buy it.:D

Or 14 people for 10 dollars. Then you have one person for every season. Everyone starts out with a season, finishes and passes it on to the next person and they get another season from someone else. Make a round robin out of it. LOL

Yep, that's an even better idea. LOL

Yes that does sound cheap, BUT when you buy something that's commercially released in stores you can STILL find amazingly low prices. I'm just leary of buying off of websites for companies I'm not familiar with.

An example of a FANTASTIC commercial set is the WONDERFUL 100 ep Mill Creek set ("The Essential Ozzie and Harriet") that was selling in J & R Music World in NYC for $25.99 - working out to 28-29 cents an ep.

I was so enamoured of the Mill Creek set that I called the company and let them know how much I loved it, what a wonderful deal it was for the price and that I hoped they released more. And some eps in the MC set even have commercials. All things considered, this is probably the best DVD set I've ever bought.

Ooooh, Ooooh, Ooooh !!! Count me in !!!!

Heck, I would pay way more than that for just the 67 episodes I need to complete my set

Seriously, there is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY they have all 435 episodes. Even though I have not been collecting nearly as long as some, I have traded with others who have been collecting for over 20 years and nobody has all 435 episodes ohno:

We sure can dream, though :sleep2:

This why I was so suspicious. Knowing this series relatively well, and how hard it is to get your hands on eps once you go past 175-200 eps, it sounded VERY ODD to me they could have all 435. Of course it'd be nice to have all 435, but I'd be very happy if I ever get up to around 300. Who knows, maybe SHOUT! and Mill Creek will release more. Write & call them, LET THEM KNOW how much you appreciate their past releases. NELSON too!

I've been strictly keeping what I collect to what I can buy in stores. But I'll never truly get an impressive collection unless I move beyond this.

I've just gathered all my tapes topgether, and have begun the LOOONG process of of putting my vhs tapes onto DVD. And as I go by try to figure out which episode is which. I'm also trying to keep the seasons together. I was going to try to put them in order but that would just be even more confusion. It's bad enough for one season I may have to pop in 3 or 4 different tapes. Or that there might be 3, 4, even 5 different seasons on one vhs tape. So I'm happy with just season selection. Over the weekend I got the first and last seasons completed. I also decided to not put on my dvd's the episodes that I already have on dvd from the Shout or Mill Creek sets. Some of them are already on both of those sets so I don't need 3 copies of it on dvd. lol

While I'm doing this perhaps I can finally gather all the info for CJ on which episodes I may have that can help her. Not many, but I think I have at least 7 on her list.

I so hate VHS. Next to DVDs they are postively prehistoric. I really need to look into transferring stuff too, but I'm so bad with machines. One thing for sure, NO MORE VHSs are setting foot in my apt. NOW, I just have to force my self to jettison what I have. At least I'm down to 100 now.

Oh I have way more than 100 vhs.. I don't even want to count all the ones I have. They sure do take up a lot of space compared to dvds.

I want to be able to get rid of all my vhs tapes. So much clutter will be gone.

ILUVO&H, you are so sweet to remember me :) I may have picked up those missing episodes with a recent trade, but I surely can use upgrades on some others that I am certain you have.

Along the way, if you are stumped about an episode, I can most likely help you figure it out real quick.

You will be so pleased once you get them transferred onto DVD. I am still working on transferring my ''soaps''. I just bought 2 more used DVD recorders of my favorite one, which can no longer be bought ''new'', just in case mine doesn't make it. I've got my eye on yet another one. Shhhhh, don't tell my family--they just shake their heads ohno:
