Seeking episodes of a local SoCal Bandstand-esque show
from the sixties called GROOVY, especially any episodes
done in the Palm Springs area.

I dig those old music shows from the 60's but I dont know about this one. Then again it was a local show. I hate to rain on your parade but there is a good possibility that the tapes of this show could have been destroyed years ago. A lot of local stations were notorious for taping over episodes or throwing away the tapes. A good example is the Clay Cole Show out of the NY/NJ/CN area. It was a music show where the Rolling Stones made their debut on American TV, that tape has long since been erased.


I would suggest contacting baby boomers in that area, or other archive and research people who deal in this stuff. They may be of some help.
