I saw The Eagles last night at the Orlando Arena(I refuse to call it by it's proper name). I admit, I've never been a huge Eagles fan, I happen to like Don Henley's solo stuff better. So my sister told me that one of her co-workers had 2 extra tickets and asked if I would want to see them. So I thought what the heck, even if I'm not a big fan, I still know alot of their songs.

Let me tell you, WOW, what a show!! I really, really enjoyed this one. I knew just about every song and I was actually able to sing along on alot of them!!(I'm a sing-a-long concert goer).

Glenn Frey did most of the talking between songs and he was hilarious!! After they played a few songs, he says "How you doing, Orlando?! Welcome to the Eagles Assisted Living Tour!" Then later on, he says "This next song is what we call The Credit Card Song. It called "Take it to the Limit". He said a few other funny things, I can't remember what they all were!!

Other Songs they did -

Peaceful Easy Feeling
Witchy Woman
One of these Nights
Lyin' Eyes
No More Walks in the Woods
Waiting in the Weeds
No More Cloudy Days(I really like this song)
I Dreamed there was no war
I Can't Tell You Why
In the City
Heartache Tonight
Long Road out of Eden
Life in the Fast Lane
Hotel California(OF COURSE!!, they wouldn't be able to leave the building without doing that one!!) I was surprised though that, that was their 5th song in the set. You'd think that would be the closer. When they did that one early, I said to my sister, "So they're probably going to close with Life in the Fast Lane)

Others they did -

From Don's solo stuff
Boys of Summer
Dirty Laundry

From Joe Walsh's music
Life's Been Good
Rocky Mountain Way

Oh yeah, Joe was pretty funny, too!! I remember when he was on the Drew Carey Show and he was very funny on there, too!

They ended the regular set with Life in the Fast Lane

then encored with
Take It Easy

and closed with Desperado

Other songs we noticed they didn't do
Tequila Sunrise
New Kid in Town
The Best of my Love
Already Gone
Victim of Love

I guess you can't play everything when you have soooo many songs. They still played a good 2 1/2 hours!

I saw Motley Crue Wed.night at the UCF Arena.

This show rocked, certainly not bad for guys in their late 40's/50's, although Mick Mars at times looked like he needed a walker. I do know that he had hip replacement surgery a few years back.

They opened with Kickheart my Heart, and they also did Wildside, Shout at the Devil, Saints of Los Angeles, Same Ol' Situation, Livewire, Too Fast for Love, a cover of Jailhouse Rock, Looks That Kill(one of my faves from them), Motherf*cker of the Year, Don't Go Away Mad(Just Go Away)I LOVE THIS TITLE, and of course, Girls, Girls, Girls and closed the regular set with Dr. Feelgood(what else?). That's also one of my faves. Then they encored with Home Sweet Home. They had brought out a piano to the middle of the stage for HSH, and while Tommy played the intro, the other 3 stood behind the piano to perform the song. We were joking that it was sweet they were standing around singing this just like people stand around a piano to sing Christmas carols!!

We also had great seats, the section right next to the stage. Awesome view!!
