Has Donna Douglas ever made an appearence on tv out of her Elly May persona? I guess the only time she makes appearances is in affiliation with the Hillbillies. Everytime I see her she has the Elly May hairdoo (of course a wig) and jeans or overalls.

Try watching her Twilight Zone episode "Eye of the Beholder." She also appeared in another one called "Cavender is Coming" but it was a very minor role.

She was also in a segment of Rod Serling's Night Gallery.

Here is a photo of myself and Donna Douglas at Smoky Mountain Fanfest in east Tennessee in July 2009. I have video of the encounter too on my facebook page.. add me as a friend if you want to see it (Richard Carnegie)

That's a cool pic, she still looks good. I'd like to meet her in person some time.

I know she was a real estate agent for a while.

I believe the OP means does she appear on tv today such as interviews outside of "Elly May" costume rather than other tv acting roles (of course she had many tv gigs before TBH and a few after, not that many which is understandable given she was best known as a decorative blonde and was almost 40 when TBH ended). Anyway, I would say while she may "dress" a bit like Elly (in jeans but in a frillier blouse than she would have worn on the show) and of course the main reason she's on the talk shows is to talk about the series, she's still appearing as "Donna Douglas" not in character. There was a nice local tv interview she did in Louisiana a few years ago, http://www.wafb.com/Global/story.asp?S=10052872
