I was curious since Bob Denver is in it and it's supposed to be a Gilligan's Island except they are lost in the west instead of on an island.

It is set up very similar to Gilligan's Island with Forest Whitaker as the mentor/buddy to Dusty like the Skipper was. You have 2 cute girls, one blonde and one brunnete and a rich couple like the Howells. The last guy is not as smart as the Professor but he is more like a handyman.

The chemistry between Dusty and his boss is nothing like it was between Skipper and Gilligan but I guess it's not THAT bad. I can see why the show didn't last more than a season. I've seen 2 episodes and maybe barely laughed once.

But I still say they should've had more than 1 season since this show is better than most shows on today!
