I was just wondering has anyone ever got kicked or bullied from a messsag board ? I got it from Imbd, when John Trovota son passed away I said rest in peace Jeff, now they were being dicks about the name yes I mae a mistake it is Jettm aand said sorry but,they jusst wanted to argue, so I just stoped going there. If I do I just to look up a movie to see who is playing in it. But,there's others places on the net for that also. Thats ok with me I just will come to thi board the greatest message boards on earth.

Yes, I was bullied and ganged up on here at SO. It wasn't pretty. Thankfully that's in the past.

I got bullied by a couple of members when I first came here. Luckily, it was taken care of by our great mods and admins so I wasn't pushed off the boards.
I don't really post on other boards, outside of the odd comment on YouTube or something.

yes on yahoo answers, and IMDB. thankfully i stopped visiting yahoo answers and rarely on IMDB. there are idiots on both those sites- though thankfully there are none on here. and if they were, they'd get kicked out

I never haved but I have friends who got kicked off the Soulful Detroit forum. There were others who got removed, and all my friends did was ask why, and they got the boot.

The Tvland message boards suck ass. There was this one girl who was trolling the 3's Company board so I wrote her a message asking where she came from and basically who do you think you are? Well, I went back a couple of days later and I saw all these threads that said "Lacymae (my name over there) sucks!!!" and the girl I addressed my post to said I was fat. Just proved how intelligent she was since she never saw what I looked like, hell, most of you guys don't know what I looked like. So I was the bigger person and apologized. Whatever.:rolleyes:

I used to post on TVLand, too, and the people on there were horrible!! I can certainly say I didn't stay on there long. One good thing did come out of it, that's where I "met" ChesneyLady and she told me about SO.

I don't think I did. I was on there over 6 years ago. I was only on there a few months. I stopped going on there when I started coming on here.

I had some people try to bully me on a message board once when I first got on the internet, but I left before it got too out of hand. I never stick around somewhere for too long if I feel like I'm not wanted. There are plenty of places where I can go and feel welcomed, so I'm not going to waste my time where I'm not.

I couldn't agree more. What's even worse are the popular bullies. They have a lot of friends at a site, and most people like them. So when they bully others, usually defenseless newbies, they cry foul when they're called out on it. Since they're popular, they get support. I think those are the most dangerous types of internet bullies, aside from the stalkers and maniacs, of course.

There's a guy like that at another forum that I post on. He's a moderator and a lot of people like him and listen to him and respect what he has to say. He and I used to be very friendly but for at least the last four or five months he hasn't said anything kind to me and has been behaving in a manner that, as a moderator, he shouldn't.

He keeps making comments about some singers I like being paedophiles (they're NOT paedophiles and he knows that, he's just saying it to get to me.) It all started as a joke another member of the forum made, but after it became clear to her that it upset me she finally stopped. However, the moderator has seen that that remark upsets me so he likes to use it at any opportunity. Quoting his last comment towards me, "At least I don't glorify paedophiles." As I said, they're NOT paedophiles and he knows that himself, it's just his way of picking on me. He knows it upsets me and as a moderator, he shouldn't be acting that way. There was another thread in which he was rude to someone he was having a debate with and insulted her twice (she did not insult him at all.) Again, this is not the kind of behaviour that should come from a moderator. I've complained twice about him but the admin seems to be on pretty good terms with him and, at least on the first occasion, didn't agree that the moderator's behaviour was out of line.

Exactly. They remind me of Lindsay Lohen in Mean Girls. Just like high school. Meanwhile, they're the ones with the insecurity issues. Especially when it's done hiding behind a computer screen.

I bullied a couple of kids back in school. Got caught up in it with a girlfriend. I was about 12 at the time. I've spent most of my adult life regretting it. I've even considered attending a reunion in hopes of running into them and finally getting a chance to apologize for what I did.

not seriously, no. years ago on this board i put on a lot of eccentric behavior that made everyone either adore me or despise me so i dealt with a good amount of unwarranted personal attacks, but i enoyed online fights anyway.

I'm glad you spoke up J. I've been SOOOOOO frustrated over that!!!

I hadn't even been on the boards much and remember you emailing me because you knew I had Mike's email address. You filled me and and we both tried so hard to enlighten him. You did EXACTLY what a moderator does and WAY MORE than any of them does.

It took months to fully investigate thoroughly what went on - OFF the boards even. You were on the side of justice and here's this bully still somehow playing these people in the background.

If it IS still going on, or blows up again, then they've got no one to blame but themselves for it and shouldn't expect anyone to come to their defence again.

What is her problem? I thought she would finally let it end after that thread from November in which her lies and manipulative behaviour were exposed. So apparently she's still messing with people's minds and lying to them? Why does she feel the need to do this? Or does she just find it entertaining?

I used to think she was a nice person but now...it's such a shame that back in January 2003 we lost a good guy like Maurice Gibb and people like her are around to spread lies about people. I guess so. I'm not saying that you shouldn't have been annoyed, his post was certainly ungrateful. But I'm sure you realise that all of this basically leads back to one person. I guess what I'm saying is, I'm inclined to feel sympathy to those she's been messing around with, even if they should know better, and that she's the one who really deserves most of the anger/contempt.

She is still spreading these ridiculous fibs and as long as she does, I don't know if this will ever be fully resolved as there will probably always be at least one person who believes what she is saying. Which I don't think is really their fault, I'm sure she is spinning everything and making it seem like her version of events is the truth.

The problem with that though is that Mikado was the victum of her lies. He knows that she is a lair but he continues to believe her. If someone told me some crazy things after they did this to me, I'd have a hard time believing that person. As a matter of fact, I'd have a hard time believing anything that person had to say about anything.

Is he aware that she one of the primary people behind what happened to him? If he is, then Mikado, I am not saying that you shouldn't forgive and forget, but do exercise caution with this person. Extreme caution. She's shown how vicious she can be, even to people who were supposed to be her friends.

One lie I have to clarify here and now, out in the open. You're telling people that the CREEP told you that TJ ordered me to get you back to SO. Didn't happen. A complete lie. TJ never once ordered me, asked me, hinted, or anything of the sort to get you back to SO. I brought it to his attention. He knew it was the CREEP's fault why you left. It was the CREEP who had your Appreciation thread pulled, the CREEP who started vicious lies about you, the CREEP who wanted you GONE from this site. That's why the CREEP was suspended. Only for three days, but took a few weeks to return over being so humiliated. I talked the CREEP into returning, promising that nobody would be allowed to discuss it. I should have left well enough alone, and let the CREEP stay gone. Nothing but trouble when the CREEP returned. I have the e-mails to prove all this. I saved everything. If you're ever in the mood for the truth, let me know, and I'll show you the e-mails where I fought like hell to save your reputation.
