I apologize if this thread was already started, but I couldn't find it anyway. This is inspired by the similar thread about female characters stealing/melting your heart. I felt the men are left out and since I'm a female, I want to share my TV crushes dating back to when I was a young girl and some that I still have today, in no particular order:

Jack Tripper - Three's Company
Hawkeye Pierce - MASH
Andy Travis - WKRP in Cincinnati
Warren 'Potsie' Weber - Happy Days
Arthur 'The Fonz' Fonzarelli - Happy Days
Davy Jones - The Monkees
Charles Emerson Winchester - MASH
David Hogan - The Hogan Family
Theo Huxtable - The Cosby Show
Joey Gladstone - Full House

Being a heterosexual male, there are no male characters that really 'stole my heart', but there were some that had me rooting for them, in a 'root for the underdog' kind of way:

Dan Rydell (Josh Charles) on SportsNight in his quest for romance with Rebecca Welles.

Arnold Horshack (Ron Pallillo) on Welcome Back, Kotter because I was a geek in high school too, and I felt his pain.

Les Nessman (Richard Sanders) in his endeavoring for respect on WKRP In Cincinnati.

Trapper (MASH)
Brian (Wings)

And even though he's just a cartoon, Homer Simpson really melts my heart :D

We actually did a thread on this awhile back:

...but that's OK. I still stand by my previous answers, especially in the case of Barney Miller's Sgt. Chano Amenguale, played by one Mr. Gregory Sierra. :eyes: :eyes: :eyes:
