In "Dying to Meet You", Mr. Furley faints in his doorway (after he overhears Janet and Cindy tell Max that Jack died in his sleep of a heart attack) You can see his feet in the doorway. However, after a few seconds, you can see him pull his feet, and get up. In reality, a fainting spell would not be so brief. In "The Case of the Missing Blonde", Larry is trapped in a phone booth, and kicks the "glass" out, in order to escape. However, while kneeling, he touches some of the leftover "glass", and does not cut his hand. In "Night of the Ropers", when he catches Mrs. Roper in bed with Mr. Furley, Mr. Roper addresses Furley as "fellow", as if they never met. However, in an earlier episode: "The New Landlord", when Mr. Furley meets the trio for the first time, he already knew about Jack being gay. This makes Jack say: "Roper told him." We can assume that Mr. Furley and Mr. Roper did meet before Furley took over as the apartment manager.
