USA is back at season one. Seems that Brian was more "immature" in the first season. Almost seems like the writers wanted him to be "over the top" immature and Weber played it to a T. He still was the carefree Brian throughout the series, but after seeing him in a lot of Season One episodes now, I can see a small difference in his character.

I noticed that too. He did mature a bit over the years, just like Joe loosened up in the later seasons.

The brothers' personality were bound to rub off on one another.

I'll tell you another Brian change I noticed, which thankfully didn't last: The most recent one I watched was the first episode of Season 6, where Brian wakes up and finds Joe in the kitchen making heart-shaped pancakes for Helen.
What theeeee heck did they do to his hair?? It was this... curly mullet thing... I have always wondered why they would make him look like that! He always had the long hair thing going on, with typical needs-a-trim curls at the end, but this looked like he got a (veryverybad) perm! Wow, that was just no good.

 Yes, there were times where he needed a good trim.

His hair was wild in the first season :)

I have to think the producers wanted that. To reinforce his character's wild and carefree attitude.
