Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has announced the release of Two and a Half Men: Season 5 on DVD on May 12th, bringing the DVD releases in-line with the television broadcasts. The first season was released on Region 1 DVD in September 2007 and over the past 16 months three more seasons have been released. Season 6 could now be released, as is current tradition, in September before the next season starts.

TVShowsonDVD.com reports that the 19-episode set will be released in anamorphic wide-screen with 5.1 surround sound. There is no word right now of any extras.

The DVD will be released in the United Kingdom on Region 2 DVD on the 13th April, you can pre-order this now at Amazon.co.uk for just £14.98.
