catlover79 01-20-2009, 02:37 PM Bummer. BOOO!!
icecream 01-20-2009, 02:50 PM The 6PM hour is becoming weaker and weaker for me. First 7th Heaven and Andy Griffith leave, now Reba. too bad Frasier didn't pick up better slots, I don't get how Still Standing does better than Frasier.
Pavan 01-20-2009, 03:01 PM catlover79: Didn't you know Golden Girls was leaving? The only thing new here is what is replacing it.

Goldstar1984 01-20-2009, 03:10 PM :(
No more Lifetime for me...
icecream 01-20-2009, 03:12 PM For 7-11PM where it says Tuesday-Thursday, is something else planned for Friday nights? And Medium is up to two times a week now? (not that I would ever watch it)
Pavan 01-20-2009, 03:14 PM That's a mistake, should be Tues-Fri...thanks catsrule. No, Medium moves to Fridays starting Jan. 23...no more Saturday nights.
icecream 01-20-2009, 03:15 PM I don't like The Golden Girls, but after 12 years of airing I thought Lifetime would give them a farewell marathon.
Scoobiedoo30 01-20-2009, 03:15 PM Reba at 1:00 that is a great move
Scoobiedoo30 01-20-2009, 03:35 PM I got The Blog Story for today.
ryan423 01-21-2009, 02:09 AM I love all the Reba airings. I'll be watching in the morning while I get ready for school. I think 2 hrs straight at night (Tues-Fri) is better than before. Hate Still Standing and always hated that it was sandwiched in between one of my favorites.
Just picked up the season 5 dvd. Hope we see season 6 soon. I know my Target was selling out like crazy!
PrettyinPink55 01-21-2009, 03:24 AM I'm actually watching it on Lifetime right now. :( I'm really going to miss it!!!
It was always a staple in my daily routine...hopefully the airings on WE and Hallmark will be fair and consistent!!!
Scoobiedoo30 01-21-2009, 01:30 PM This is what I am thinking The Golden Girl's will air from 4:00 pm until 5:00 pm CT Time and Hallmark Channel will Move M*A*S*H up an Hour from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm CT Time.

I don't have cable - but I know that GG has run on Lifetime for over a decade. Does anyone really want to watch Wife Swap instead?? I know I wouldn't.
Scoobiedoo30 01-21-2009, 04:00 PM Well you can always get all 7 season's of The Golden Girl's on DVD.
catlover79 01-21-2009, 04:20 PM Well you can always get all 7 season's of The Golden Girl's on DVD.
That's right - by and large a very good thing.
Buffyboy323 01-22-2009, 06:35 AM Does anyone really want to watch Wife Swap instead?? I know I wouldn't.
I know!!! And do they really need to air it two hours a day, back to back, five days a week!? puke:
catlover79 01-24-2009, 11:20 PM I know!!! And do they really need to air it two hours a day, back to back, five days a week!? puke:
My sentiments exactly.
Jude The Obscure 01-25-2009, 12:21 AM Lifetime used to be very good for sitcom fans, but it is slowly turning away from the good reliable ones. Heck, it was great for picking up shortlived shows and rerunning them into the ground
Scoobiedoo30 01-25-2009, 11:00 PM The Golden Girl's should air from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm CT Time from Now until Feburary 28, 2009.
SHOW 45 01-29-2009, 01:35 AM The bad news is that im not going to watch STILL STANDING in my backyard.. But the good new is that now ill be able to see STILL STANDING before I go to work.

1:30 am Frasier
ryan423 03-15-2009, 08:26 PM HIMYM and Will and Grace will def. do great back to back, as both go for more of the adult audience. I'll also be watching Reba at 1am when I go to bed!
icecream 03-15-2009, 10:45 PM I guess Will & Grace has replaced Reba as their highest rated comedy. :(
ekkostar 03-16-2009, 02:37 PM After about 3 or 4 years, I'm getting sick of the Still Stading reruns in the same way I'm getting sick of the weekend reruns of Grounded for Life on ABC Family. They were once good shows but there aren't enough episodes available to keep the reruns from getting stale. This is like back when USA Network ran short lived Something So Right, Boston Common and Ned and Stacey from 1998-2002. It got boring quick.
ryan423 03-16-2009, 11:00 PM Lol..."Grounded" isn't even on TV anywhere anymore. It seldemly airs on ABC Family maybe once or twice (if lucky) every few months now! Reba ran 6 seasons though with a total of 125 episodes and I don't think it goes through its cycle that quick. I actually perfer it at 1am...that's when I'd have time to watch, lol:)
Pavan 04-01-2009, 02:05 PM Just a heads up. Lifetime has picked-up a sitcom for air starting in May! We will announce the title on the blog this week, but see the end of today's blog for a little blurb on it:
http://www.sitcomsonline.com/blog/2009/04/tv-one-may-2009-says-thats-my-mama.html
Pavan 04-03-2009, 02:25 PM And the sitcom is...http://www.sitcomsonline.com/blog/2009/04/abc-mid-season-pilot-review-surviving.html
MikeLutton 04-03-2009, 02:49 PM that be good tom wopat was on there for a while and audrey lindley from
threes company good choice of a show to pick up
Scoobiedoo30 04-03-2009, 03:00 PM I gotgot that Tom Wopat was on the series
icecream 04-03-2009, 05:10 PM Oh well. I was hoping for Murphy Brown or Caroline in the City. Mary Tyler Moore would have been great but sadly that's too old for them.
Scoobiedoo30 04-03-2009, 05:20 PM Murphy Brown and Caroline in The City has already been on Lifetime TV
icecream 04-03-2009, 05:28 PM Murphy Brown and Caroline in The City has already been on Lifetime TVCybill has too.
Scoobiedoo30 04-03-2009, 05:35 PM When did Cybill last air on Lifetime TV
icecream 04-03-2009, 05:52 PM The episode I saw was in 2004.
Pavan 04-03-2009, 06:43 PM It was on Oxygen from like 2001-2004.
Jude The Obscure 04-03-2009, 07:16 PM Wouldn't the Facts of Life be in the target demo for Lifetime?
MikeLutton 04-03-2009, 07:18 PM that be a good choice for lifetime but u know their edit it like they did golden girls
Jude The Obscure 04-03-2009, 07:24 PM all channels, for the most part, edit....it's a fact of life (pun intentional).
Still exposure on a major cable channel would probably help demand for Sony to start releasing the show on DVD again.
80sTrivia 04-03-2009, 08:05 PM I think Cybil will be a perfect fit for Lifetime, but they do need to get a ratings winner after letting TGG expire...
Jude The Obscure 04-03-2009, 08:08 PM I wonder if Lifetime is regretting letting TGG go......
TVFactFan 04-03-2009, 11:25 PM all channels, for the most part, edit....it's a fact of life (pun intentional).
Still exposure on a major cable channel would probably help demand for Sony to start releasing the show on DVD again.
Not really, Fresh Prince and Family are doing well on N@N and still there are no DVD releases.
Jude The Obscure 04-04-2009, 11:22 AM Uh......last time I checked.......Fresh Prince and Family Matters were Warner Bros, not Sony! :p
MonarC 04-04-2009, 12:49 PM I've been watching The Golden Girls on the Hallmark Channel. They show maybe 2-3 episodes back to back. In the mornings and evenings.
Jude The Obscure 04-04-2009, 03:41 PM apparently GG is turning into one of those "evergreen" shows that will keep showing up in reruns and do well no matter who plays it.
TVFactFan 04-04-2009, 04:36 PM Uh......last time I checked.......Fresh Prince and Family Matters were Warner Bros, not Sony! :p
No Need for the smart A$$ comment ok? I was just saying that i know of two shows in syndication that does well but it didn't make the production company rush out a release.
Pavan 05-13-2009, 12:12 PM Lifetime has quietly readded Reba in the 8pm hour again. So Reba airs 7-9pm weeknights, in addition to 9-10am. The 1-2am airings are now Will & Grace, since it lost the 8-9pm hour.
Also, heads up for Friday...I'll be announcing a new sitcom coming to Lifetime in June. No hints, sorry.
Scoobiedoo30 05-13-2009, 12:40 PM well I no you said no Hints but to we get to take a guess

I already know what it is but I will keep quiet. But I am glad they are adding that show
Pavan 05-13-2009, 07:48 PM LOL, Solomon is playing mind games. He doesn't know what the show is. He can't since it was just announced today, lol. I'll announce it Friday on the blog, because I have some ION/TV Land news for tomorrow, along with the CW upfront prediction.

So are you able to answer this-"will I like the addition?
Pavan 05-13-2009, 07:57 PM I think you like the show, but that's all I'll say.
