I mean I know it won't happen but I will be rooting for the Cards in the SB. Anyone else pulling for the Cards in 2 weeks? I think the organization deserves it after 20 years of misery

View Full Version : Aside from Bandito, who wants to see Kurt Warner get his 2nd SB ring and Cards 1s SB? TVFactFan 01-19-2009, 06:26 PM I mean I know it won't happen but I will be rooting for the Cards in the SB. Anyone else pulling for the Cards in 2 weeks? I think the organization deserves it after 20 years of misery Big C 01-19-2009, 06:45 PM I'd like to see them win, but I think Pittsburgh is the worst possible opponent. My heart says Arizona, but my head says Steelers. I HOPE the Cards win, but a Pittsburgh win would not have me devastated. TVFactFan 01-19-2009, 06:50 PM I'd like to see them win, but I think Pittsburgh is the worst possible opponent. My heart says Arizona, but my head says Steelers. I HOPE the Cards win, but a Pittsburgh win would not have me devastated. As long as they do what they did yesterday, don't turn over the ball, play agressive defense, and maintain a balanced offense then they should beat the Steelers too GARFIELDKOOL 01-19-2009, 08:24 PM To me it won't matter. If the Cards win, it will be their first ever SB win, if the Steelers win, it would be their sixth SB win. It would be historic either way. But it won't be historic on the part that both Warner and Big Ben won Superbowls before. TVFactFan 01-19-2009, 08:38 PM To me it won't matter. Just because YOU hate the Steelers, doesn't mean everyone on here does TVFactFan 01-19-2009, 09:38 PM Why would you make such an @sshole kind of thread? Just because YOU hate the Steelers, doesn't mean everyone on here does i never said i hated the steelers, it was just a onsided question, I wasn't sure who else was pulling for the steelers besides you. I wanted to know who wanted the cards to win their first sb besides me and FSU bandito 01-19-2009, 09:43 PM i never said i hated the steelers, it was just a onsided question, I wasn't sure who else was pulling for the steelers besides you. Now that the Steelers are playing them in the SB now you're a big Arizona fan. But whatever, May the best team win in the Superbowl. As much stress as the Eagles put me through can you blame me for pulling for the Cards?-lol It would just make it more satisfying to see the Cards get a SB before the Eagles. Nothing personal against the Steelers. Waterston_Fan 01-19-2009, 10:34 PM I can't stand the thought of Polumalou getting another ring since AJ traded down the pick for the draft years ago when he could have picked him but didn't. They traded with Phillly and guess who was number 16?!! dawsongirl 01-19-2009, 10:39 PM Kurt's an Iowa boy...gotta root for the homestate dude. TJ 01-23-2009, 03:14 AM I will definitely be rooting for the Cardinals and Warner. I lived in St. Louis from 1983-1987 and they weren't very good. They moved to Arizona a year later. Warner is still very popular in St. Louis because of his time with the Rams. Somebody should make a movie about his story. From bagging groceries to the Arena Football League to the NFL is pretty amazing. I lived in St. Louis from 1983-1987 and they weren't very good. They moved to Arizona a year later. That's odd. To me it's like a Cleveland resident wanting the Baltimore Ravens to win. For the longest time I detested the Sacramento Kings because they used to be based in Cincinnati. Waterston_Fan 01-23-2009, 04:27 PM Waterston Fan, who's this AJ of whom you speak? AJ Smith, Chargers GM who is now treating LT like crap. He was under Butler when they were in Buffalo. mriggles 01-28-2009, 12:18 AM I am watching with virtually no rooting interest... I don't hate the cardinals...everyone tells me you cant root for the team that knocked you out... In most cases I can make that argument, i have nothing against them, in fact they have 2 players on the team that i like. Its a good story for the cardinals, part of me kind of hope they win. Big C 01-28-2009, 12:35 AM Question- if Arizona wins, where would this rank among the biggest upsets in Super Bowl, if not NFL, history? Think about it- Cardinals over Steelers would be David slaying Goliath. TVFactFan 01-28-2009, 01:43 AM Question- if Arizona wins, where would this rank among the biggest upsets in Super Bowl, if not NFL, history? Think about it- Cardinals over Steelers would be David slaying Goliath. it won't be a upset, just a sexy sports story Marvo301 01-28-2009, 02:16 AM Have any of you ever read Kurt Warner's book "All Things Possible"? It was published in 2000 and chronicles his career up to and including the Rams Superbowl win. A very interesting read! Mr. Television 01-29-2009, 08:47 PM Question- if Arizona wins, where would this rank among the biggest upsets in Super Bowl, if not NFL, history? Think about it- Cardinals over Steelers would be David slaying Goliath. I think it would rival one of the biggest upsets in SB history...remember they are only a 9-7 team. TVFactFan 01-29-2009, 08:54 PM I think it would rival one of the biggest upsets in SB history...remember they are only a 9-7 team. I don't think it would be a upset at all going by their last 3 games 70s show watcher 01-29-2009, 10:56 PM even though i dont follow football too much as an az resident of 19 years im rotting for the cards to win sunday 70s show watcher 01-29-2009, 10:58 PM i meant im rooting for them to win sorry i hope my mispellings dont curse the poor guys they have had enough troubles all these years |
