The only one last night who really stood out for me was that legally blind man. I thought he was great. As a visually-impaired person myself, I'm hoping he makes it to at least the Top 24 (or whatever the number is this season).

This season they are running a top 36/wildcard format. I hope the legally blind man does well. My other favorites of the night were Stevie Wright and Arianna.

I thought Jason Castro's little bro was good. I also liked that farm girl.

I thought the guy with the cheerleaders should have gone through.

They say this is the most talented season ever...but they say that about every season, really. Nobody really stuck out to me besides the blind man and the single mother...and the guy with the glasses who was a recent widow. And naturally I'll be rooting for the Indian guy, but that's it.

From what I heard, there was some really heated controversy between the judges and "bikini girl." She had a nice rear end, but that was about it-LOL. I saw nothing special about her voice.

And the farm girl - I heard she had some very racy photos of herself floating around :crazy: What's happened to Idol this season? :lol:

The Indian guy seems to have talent. His was dressed dorky though.

Watching Jason Castro last season was more like awkward-LOL. His brother had an okay voice, but nothing special. I wonder how far he'll get.

And, not to be rude, but is Kara coming off as bitchy to anyone else? She seems to always be "mad" during the audtions.

She seems to be coming on a little too strong, IMO. And, Paula has actually been pretty normal this season - no big stunts or screwups yet. She must be on something new ;)

Yeah, last night was a lot of filler - way too many commercials. And it was only an hour - may have been why ratings were down last night.

You're right...this is turning out to be a lackluster season...nothing really sticks out...

yeah i dont know if its just im not as into it as seasons past (last night was the first time i actually forgot it was on :eek: ) or if it just sucks or maybe a combination of both? im interested to see all of the supposed ~changes~ they have up their sleeves for the later rounds though.

and David Archuleta and Jordin need to perform or someones getting HURT.

I agree. Personality and beauty seems to trump the qualifications than singing this season.

i saw one audition last night, got bored and turned it off. but i hear they pimped David in the preview for the SLC auditions. this makes me happy :)
