I found these fairly recent pics of LL on a Broadway World website. She looks good for a 71-year-old woman. It looks like she's aged naturally - good for her!!

View Full Version : Linda Lavin's gone BLOND!! catlover79 01-10-2009, 10:40 PM I found these fairly recent pics of LL on a Broadway World website. She looks good for a 71-year-old woman. It looks like she's aged naturally - good for her!! Brian Damage 01-10-2009, 10:43 PM She looks great for 71! catlover79 01-10-2009, 10:45 PM She looks great for 71! Yes, she does - good for her for not looking all plastic, unlike some other actresses her age. *coughLorettaSwitcough* Brian Damage 01-10-2009, 10:57 PM Yes, she does - good for her for not looking all plastic, unlike some other actresses her age. *coughLorettaSwitcough* Agreed  catlover79 01-10-2009, 10:59 PM Is it just me, or does she look like Betty White a bit in the last photo? I believe that's her husband with her. Brian Damage 01-10-2009, 11:23 PM Is it just me, or does she look like Betty White a bit in the last photo? I believe that's her husband with her. You are right, it is the hair style mostly though. catlover79 01-11-2009, 01:19 AM You are right, it is the hair style mostly though. It's still hard to picture her as a blond - she'll always be a brunette to me. God bless her. fordamian 01-11-2009, 10:02 AM wow! thanks for pic's marco from italy Scoobiedoo30 01-11-2009, 01:09 PM Linda Lavin looks great as a Blond. catlover79 01-11-2009, 03:42 PM wow! thanks for pic's marco from italy My pleasure. :D TripperFan 01-11-2009, 05:49 PM It's still hard to picture her as a blond - she'll always be a brunette to me. God bless her. Well it's better than her only alternative right now - white! ;) Actually, I like to see women do that as they age. You're supposed to go a shade lighter after 40 because darker shades "harden" your look. Rather than finally going all white, or salt and pepper, the blonde can be more flattering (as long as you skintone allows it). Which I think Linda's does. You Go Girl! (WOW - Hubby's lookin' pretty darn good himself!! ) catlover79 01-11-2009, 09:25 PM ^ My own grandmother went lighter as she got older. She had very dark hair originally and was a blond for years before she passed. I like the look on Linda! :D sodalake 01-12-2009, 12:20 AM Looking older naturally is better than having botched looking plastic surgery or pumped up lips that look ridiculous. I saw Priscilla Presley on something the other day and my gosh she'd look better if she aged naturally instead of having whatever she did done. Scoobiedoo30 01-12-2009, 12:25 AM I was wondering in the 3rd picture who is linda with. catlover79 01-12-2009, 12:31 AM I looked it up - that's her husband, Steve. catlover79 01-12-2009, 12:34 AM Looking older naturally is better than having botched looking plastic surgery or pumped up lips that look ridiculous. I saw Priscilla Presley on something the other day and my gosh she'd look better if she aged naturally instead of having whatever she did done. I couldn't agree more! I was just discussing how horrible Priscilla Presley looks with someone today. comedyfreak 01-15-2009, 06:59 AM Linda does look good. I loved her role as Nana on The O.C. The natural look is way better than someone who has had surgery, yuck! catlover79 01-15-2009, 12:10 PM Linda does look good. I loved her role as Nana on The O.C. The natural look is way better than someone who has had surgery, yuck! That's right - I'd forgotten she was on The OC. Didn't she play Peter Gallagher's mother? AB 01-15-2009, 06:08 PM Great pictures of Linda, she looks very attractive as a blond. catlover79 01-15-2009, 09:18 PM I hear that Linda still sings the Alice theme song when she does her club act. Very cool. comedyfreak 01-16-2009, 09:10 AM That's right - I'd forgotten she was on The OC. Didn't she play Peter Gallagher's mother? Yup..It was perfect for her. I was a big fan of the show and was hoping she'd join the cast full time. catlover79 01-16-2009, 09:25 AM Yup..It was perfect for her. I was a big fan of the show and was hoping she'd join the cast full time. I thought so. Thanks, Joey. :D ThomasE 01-18-2009, 11:01 AM Yes, she does - good for her for not looking all plastic, unlike some other actresses her age. *coughLorettaSwitcough* Or Joan Van Ark who is about five years years younger. One thing about the surgery, you have to live with the work done to yourself. I am not against plastic surgery, I am just against taking it too far. catlover79 05-10-2009, 04:06 PM Or Joan Van Ark who is about five years years younger. One thing about the surgery, you have to live with the work done to yourself. I am not against plastic surgery, I am just against taking it too far. I know exactly what you mean. All of Mel's waitresses seem to have held up fairly well over the years. :D Scoobiedoo30 05-10-2009, 09:30 PM I hope Linda Lavin keep's her Hair Blond. |
